 It's just so well done. It carries very nicely in the pocket, which is beautiful. And you know, it's just a great knife. And yeah, $270 is a bit steep, but at the same time, $260 or whatever it's going for these days, but at the same time, it's really, really, really compelling

 Hey everybody, Nick here, and today I got a review that's a long time in coming, and that's of your ZT-0562CF here. So, um, I've known about this knife for a long time, but I never really thought I would be that interested in it, and what changed actually is that I had a rash of really good ZTs come through my life. Um, the 452CF here just blew me away with the action. Oh my god, and when I got this guy, I realized, okay, the carbon fiber is really nice, the action is really nice, then maybe I need to give this another shot

 I will pick up something, you know, beefy. And so in the past, that's always been either the Gram Razor here, which I still love very much, or your Spyderco PM2. Since I got this guy, I actually haven't been carrying the PM2 much, which is really surprising to me because I like the PM2 a lot, but this guy is just smaller and easier to carry in the pocket than your PM2. And the steel's a little bit better, and frankly, it just feels nicer made

 The day I received my 0562 in the mail I received other packages so I used it to open a box and the first swipe through the tape I hit a commercial staple and chipped my blade!! I have done that hundreds of times with my other ZT’S and never ever would I think that would happen. I got this knife for an EDC work knife, now I find myself afraid to use it for tasks that I wouldn’t have with my other ZT’S.

Disappointed

 2 TI. This is going to be a regular production piece and is based off of the ric Hinderer design and in the 0, 5 6 to family. So this one has a CPM 20 cv blade with a satin finish and tumbled flats, similar to the carbon fiber version. It'S got a nice robust played stock thickness with the Hinderer slicer grind for cutting performance

 Then SNAP. It opens and it feels like it just falls into place. The lock is positive and easily released, and the blade closes with no resistance or crunchy spots in rotation. It closes with an authoritative click and it's not going anywhere until you want it to

 Amazing knives in design, can be disappointing in production. Hence, the two stars for a knife that should've and could've been a 4.9/5.

 The ZT 0220 had the perfect detent and flipper action, amazing ergonomics, BUT, a screwed up grind on the blade near the choil (if you can call it a choil - it's a recurved blade which, pretty much ruined an almost perfect knife). A shame. So.

 I used to own the G10 version of the 0561 - it had the whole blade ground off center. This ZT 0561 with the Carbon scale had a lockbar that, once engaged, would cause physical pain on your thumb - that is how much effort it required to release. The ZT 0220 had the perfect detent and flipper action, amazing ergonomics, BUT, a screwed up grind on the blade near the choil (if you can call it a choil - it's a recurved blade which, pretty much ruined an almost perfect knife). A shame
