 Going down the hill though, that's another story. That's where all of the thrill is. It's so worth bringing the bike up the hill just to experience the speed of the Urbano. Zizzo used fantastic brakes here so even if you're soaring and going very fast, the braking system on the bike will help you stop almost on a dime

 Though I haven't tried it and probably won't, it looks like I can actually fit two of them, one on top of the other in my tiny Audi A3 trunk just to give you guys a little size reference as to how compact the Urbano gets when it's folded up. Convenience is what it's all about for me nowadays and the Urbano more than delivers on that front. Hi all! Newish biker (and completely new to folding bikes) seeking your opinions here. I just moved to a new city and am looking into getting a folding bike for short commute/running errands. My dad is really into biking, so I’d also like something where we can occasionally do a bike ride together when I visit (not more than every other month and not exceeding 10-20 miles on mostly paved trails) 

My biking experience is pretty limited and I don’t have a ton of experience with biking in the city so I’ve been looking at a folding bikes for something that’s small and easy to handle, and also portable. 

I’m currently debating between the zizzo liberté and tern link a7. Does anyone have any recommendations on which might be better for someone new to folding bikes (and bikes overall)?

Way too expensive

 This is an extremely lightweight 24 pound 8 speed bike with 20 inch wheels, a comfortable plushy seat and a solid aluminum folding frame that allows you to open and close the bike in literally less than 30 seconds. The Urbano is an excellent bike that I can confidently say so far is a steal of a deal for what you're getting for the price. Here on the channel, you guys know I don't talk about products that I don't believe in and this here was one of those really, really good buys. Bear in mind that since this whole quarantine started, bicycles, including the Urbano, have become one of those really hard to come by items since everyone is looking to get outdoors and for something to do

 I've been on dirt trails, on paths in the park, on streets, on sidewalks, no matter what was beneath it, this thing handled it with ease. I was really surprised at how versatile it is and how well it performs on a variety of different surfaces. Given its name, the Urbano is clearly built towards urban commuting and fun riding so don't expect to be climbing mountains or anything like that. In fact, unless you're going fast, this thing does struggle a bit when you're going up hills

Does anyone have a recommendation for something I could fit in a checked bag for airline travel, and that’s semi-affordable?
Price range would ideally be $300-$900

Best Affordable Folding Bike that can Fit in a Standard Checked Bag?

Nice bike, but brakes are impossible to adjust. I have no idea why they don't go with disc. They are so much better and need minimal adjustment and there's usually never any rubbing. These brakes are are impossible to stop from rubbing the rims when you're not using them

They need to update the brakes to disk

 uh, replaceable derailleur hanger nutted rear axle which is fine by me, that's the stronger rear axle in my opinion. You have a sealed hub in the rear so both the hubs on front and rear are sealed and also you're dealing with the cassette as opposed to a freewheel and this is a Shimano HG 31 8-speed cassette so you get an extra gear on this one as well. the crank set again nice stuff, nicely done. An aluminum nice cartridge bottom bracket on here as well

 I'm not getting any kickbacks for showing you this bike. I'm an frugal guy and I find deals like this. This is an outstanding value. This is one that I will put bags on that I will probably commute to work on and that type of thing

 Butter aluminum tubing on this one. but we're looking at here is a nice lightweight butted frame. This one weighs in at about 24 pounds. It's light guys

 Kind of the same saddle that's on the Campo so you got the wide glide going on here so it's comfortable out of the box. That's the main thing There really is nothing you need to buy when you get one of these. There's nothing you need to do except accessorize it the way you want lights, bags, that type of thing. I am gonna be getting some clipless pedals in for this to get rid of these folding ones

 Nice comfortable saddle as well. guys. Kind of the same saddle that's on the Campo so you got the wide glide going on here so it's comfortable out of the box. That's the main thing There really is nothing you need to buy when you get one of these
