Battery Life

The Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro is not everything you ever wanted. The main concern is battery life and device switching/connecting. Hopefully this can be sorted out over time. I should have gone with the AirPods Pro which has about the same battery life but better device switching or the Sony WF1000XM4

Some of the best ear buds I have ever had

They are amazing the battery life last me about a week in a half and most of the time I just charge it on my way to work. Having the usb c for charging works out great with me using Android. The noise cancelation works so good I gotta take it out to hear what someone is saying . Only thing I wish it had was an app to adjust some of the sound controls

Now that I've figured them out, I like them!

I couldn't believe how low but thankfully discovered I had enabled a "slight mute" feature that allows you to speak to others without stopping your music. Once I enabled that then, woah, these things sound great! So yes the sound quality is excellent (once properly fitted!) and these things really do perform well. I did give it an average score for noise cancellation because there isn't any active noise suppression, it's just noise is blocked by the inserts in your ear. My only complaint at this point is that there is no volume control on them

Sound Quality

Doesn't connect to charging case consistently.

The good news is that the ANC is awesome, the sound quality is awesome too, especially on the LDAC codec, and they're super comfortable. I bought some Comply foam eartips for them, because they were a massive upgrade in some other buds I've owned in the past, and if they're any better than the silicone eartips that come with the Liberty 3 Pros, I can't tell, so I stopped using them and went back to the stock ones. All in all, these are quite nice, if you don't mind jiggling the earbuds to get them to connect properly, but I do mind that. Especially after it happened on three pairs in one month

Bill Callahan’s “Drover,” a track with far less deep bass in the mix, gives us a better sense of the UA True Wireless Flash X’s general sound signature. The drums on this track sound almost thunderous—there’s some serious bass boosting happening here, but the drivers manage to avoid going into wildly unnatural territory. Callahan’s baritone vocals also receive a healthy dose of added low-mid richness, but thankfully, there's plenty of added high-mid- and high-frequency sculpting in play, too. The JBL UA True Wireless Flash are great sports headphones that stand out thanks to their good audio reproduction and their rugged build quality. They're versatile for a wide variety of music genres, are sweat-proof and waterproof, and their bulky design feels durable for most intense sports. Their fit is good and fairly comfortable, on top of sealing off ambient noise, making them well-rounded for most everyday uses. Unfortunately, they won’t be great for watching videos due to their very high latency, and some may feel like four hours of battery life isn’t enough for a single charge

However, I don't use LDAC mode and still have these issues and have seen other people with the same complaint. Also, the earbuds don't always connect properly when taking them out of the case. Sometimes one bud won't connect and I have to put them back in the case and pull them back out. Furthermore, when putting the buds in the case to charge/turn them off, it does not always work

They sounded well-balanced, with fairly natural sounding mids and meaty bass that's pretty well defined (read: not boomy). You're dealing with Bluetooth streaming so you're not going to get as clean or detailed sound as you would with a good pair of wired headphones, but most people should be pleased with the sound quality.

Don’t stay in my ears - not for long/hard running

I liked the idea of these ear buds but I can’t for the life of me get them to stay comfortably in my ears. For context, I am an average adult male, I don’t usually struggle with things not fitting me. Key thing to emphasize - I’ve tried all the various sizing customization pieces included with the buds, but I can’t get the right ear bud to stay securely and comfortably in my ear. To be clear, with the wrong fit these will fall out my ears without even moving, and with the best fitting combination I can get them to mostly stay but they are extremely uncomfortable (borderline painful in that my ear is moderately irritated/sore after wearing them a few hours)

Durability

Great features, good sound,really good all-round

Evaluating vs Sony XM4 buds: these k(Liberty 3) are more comfortable in my ears, stay put much better (they have wingtips), and important for wireless, they have great customizable controls. Sony falls far short in the controls and you are forced to choose 2 or of 3 functions (volume, play/pause/skip, or transparency/ANC). Usually with my phone in a pocket, bag or the next room, I want all three of these functions at ones. Liberty 3 and Samsung earbuds allow this

Perfect for the Gym

I use them for roughly an hour every day and so far I haven't had them die in a month (I always put them in the recharging case after use). That's around 30 hours of use and the charger is still at 50% remaining power. They were super easy to connect to my android via Bluetooth. The range on them is so good that I have left my phone at previous weightlifting stations more times than I can count
