As expected for getting something cheaper, it doesn't have the same features or performance as the higher-end Gigabyte M34WQ; however, it's still good overall and versatile for different uses, including gaming. While it doesn't have a USB-C input or KVM switch like the Gigabyte, it still has four USB ports if you want to connect your mouse and keyboard, and it has Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes to use for productivity. It's also well-built with good ergonomics, making it ideal if you often need to adjust your screen.

Unlike the Gigabyte, it has a VA panel with a high contrast ratio, making it a great choice for dark room gaming. However, there are some drawbacks to this panel type as it has narrow viewing angles, but the 1500R curve helps bring the edges more within your field of vision. It also has black smearing with fast-moving objects, meaning the motion handling isn't as good as on the Gigabyte, so you'll have to spend a bit more if that's important to you.

For something in the budget category, there are some ultrawide options you can choose from, like the AOC CU34G2X. If you want a curved gaming monitor and you're on a budget, there are a few good options. The AOC CU34G2X is an entry-level ultrawide monitor with an aggressive 1500R curve that doesn't deliver the same sharp images as the Gigabyte M32UC or the great picture quality of the LG 34GP950G-B; however, it does its job as a low-cost gaming monitor. It delivers great gaming performance with a 144Hz refresh rate and both FreeSync and G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing. It also supports Low Framerate Compensation for the VRR to continue working at low frame rates.

While its motion handling isn't the best, and you'll see black smearing with fast-moving objects, the overall response time is still good, and there isn't much motion blur either. It also has low input lag which remains low no matter what frame rate you're gaming at. Despite its budget cost, it has a few extra features like a USB hub that makes it easy to connect your peripherals like a mouse or keyboard or if you need to charge devices while gaming.

If you want an ultrawide display and you're on a budget, you'll have to spend a bit more than standard displays, but something like the AOC CU34G2X is still a low-cost ultrawide monitor with great gaming performance. These displays have a 21:9 aspect ratio with a 3440x1440 resolution, allowing you to see more of your game at once. It's great if you play atmospheric games and need to see more of your field of view, and the image clarity is also good, so some images look sharp.

This monitor has a VA panel that makes it perform well in dark rooms, even better than the other monitors in this recommendation because it displays deep blacks with minimal blooming.  No cheap glossy parts here. Overall the monitor has a premium feel and look to it, and it would be right at home at an office as well as on a gaming desk.

This is not like a 140 dollar gaming monitor or anything like the ones we looked at last time, but considering how much higher their costs would be to get this better panel technology, it's a larger display. The CHEAPEST 1440P 144Hz Gaming Monitor on Amazon

I'm looking to get into Ultrawide soon, but currently it's just way over my budget. I'm currently looking at 3440x1440 144hz 1ms 34'' and what i found was the  AOC 34" Curved gaming monitor CU34G2X/BK at a pricepoint of 630 USD. That is way too expensive for me, and I simply do not have the current budget for that. I really want to get into 3440x1440, but I just need something that's less expensive

 It means that instead of a flat panel display where it kind of looks like I'm looking through a letterbox into the universe of the game that I'm playing, it feels a lot more immersive, because it's literally wrapping itself around your head, but not too much. I would also know the viewing angles in this are actually pretty fantastic, especially site aside, you really don't see too much brightness drop-off or any color shifting and even from the bottom as well. It'S remarkably impressive. It means that if you did want to use this as a you know, content watching display, maybe from your bed looking up at your desk or whatever that's certainly a decent option

 So, let's start with the panel now, like I said it's a 1440p ultra wide, which means a resolution. 34. 40 by well. 1440, it's also full 144 Hertz, which, considering it wasn't all that long ago, that 1440p ultra whites reached no more than about 100 Hertz is very nice to see, is very smooth and responsive experience, so big thumbs up there

 Next was the more recent CQ 27 g to you, which is a 1440p 144 Hearst, the a monitor with again an incredible price tag, and now there is this: the 44 HP, 144 Hearst ultra white VA monitor with again just ludicrous price tag to go with it. This is not one you want to miss, but first, if you haven't already consider subscribing for more videos like this one, every Monday, Wednesday Friday. So, let's start with the panel now, like I said it's a 1440p ultra wide, which means a resolution. 34

AOC CU34G2X Review - 1440p 144Hz & CHEAP Ultrawide! - TechteamGB

Right now I'm looking at the Acer Nitro XV340CK and the AOC CU34G2X. They're both around the same price point. Both being 144hz and claiming 1 ms response time.

1 it is only 2.0 so max refresh rate is 100 using hdmi but 144 on DisplayPort. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a step up from 100hz Ultrawides but doesn't want to spend $700 or more on a monitor.

Good budget or price/performance ratio

 Pricing is a little crazy here right now, but still given the options, it's not too bad. Looking at the build quality, we're getting a similar design to aoc's previous displays just extended for an ultra wide format. This means a fairly basic plastic construction, with a combination of black silver and red used throughout there's. A few red v-shaped highlights on the rear, so a bit of that classic gamer style coming through, but i don't think it's too bad here and overall

 The backlight striping mode is bad and not worth using standard array of ports here with two hdmi 2.0 ports, 2 displayport 1. Contrast, though, is fine with around a 2600 to 1 ratio, so you are getting noticeably deeper blacks than with an ips display of otherwise similar specifications. Viewing angles are decent, although somewhat limited by the 1500 r curve and of course, there's no ips glow

 We get height, adjustability, plus tilt and swivel support, which is better than average for a lot of budget displays. Often in this price category, you're stuck with just tilt adjustment, so aoc is providing a bit extra here, which is always nice. The main downside to the design is a lack of a directional toggle for navigating through the osd, so we're stuck with face buttons. Ioc provides a number of features in the osd, but it's cumbersome to navigate with the button offerings

Overall, the M32U is the better choice for most people, as it has a larger screen and slightly better motion handling, especially at 60Hz. However, if you're looking for something cheaper, the M28U is almost as good.

The Gigabyte M28U is the best 144Hz console gaming monitor we've tested. It's an excellent gaming monitor, with an excellent response time at the max refresh rate and when gaming at 120Hz, resulting in crystal-clear motion with almost no blur behind fast-moving objects. It also has exceptionally low input lag, ensuring your actions remain in sync with what you see on the screen.

One of the main features of this monitor is that it supports HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on both of its HDMI ports. This allows it to take full advantage of the Xbox Series X and PS5 consoles. It's also one of the relatively few monitors that support the PS5's variable refresh rate feature. It's compatible with FreeSync, G-SYNC, and HDMI Forum variable refresh rates, ensuring a nearly tear-free gaming experience from any source.

The best 4k 144Hz monitor we've tested in a 28 inch screen size is the Gigabyte M28U. It's essentially a smaller version of the Gigabyte M32U, with a few minor differences. It has excellent gaming performance, and it's versatile enough if you want to use it for other uses, like if you need to work on it during the day, as it has a few extra features like a keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) switch.

Like the larger variant, the M28U has an excellent response time at its max refresh rate of 144Hz, and it remains quick at 120Hz if you want to use it for console gaming. It also has native FreeSync support and works with NVIDIA graphics cards for G-SYNC compatibility. Gaming feels responsive thanks to its incredibly low input lag, and it doesn't increase much at lower refresh rates. It also delivers great picture quality in bright rooms as it has excellent peak brightness, enough to fight glare.

Sadly, it has limited ergonomics as you can't swivel it or rotate it into portrait mode, but you can wall-mount if you need to move the screen around. It offers an impressive combination of features for both gamers and office users. It has a USB hub that features three USB-A ports and a USB-C port, and it has a KVM switch that lets you control two devices with the same keyboard and mouse, which is great for productivity.

It has fantastic accuracy before calibration, meaning you won't have to get it calibrated if your work requires accurate colors. It also gets bright enough to fight glare in a well-lit room, and the reflection handling is good. Even if you want to use it for gaming, it has a high refresh rate, variable refresh rate (VRR) support, and while it doesn't have the same motion handling as the Dell, it still looks great. Like the larger variant, it has an excellent response time at its max refresh rate of 144Hz and remains quick at 120Hz if you want to use it for console gaming. It also has native FreeSync support and works with NVIDIA graphics cards for G-SYNC compatibility. Gaming feels responsive thanks to its incredibly low input lag, which doesn't increase much at lower refresh rates. It also delivers great picture quality in bright rooms as it has excellent peak brightness, enough to fight glare, but like the M32U, it doesn't perform well in dark rooms due to its low contrast.
