I really wanted to love these...

You can still hear some loud noises, but those are muted significantly. As for Transparency mode, it amplifies outside noise so you can be aware of your surroundings while listening to music. This was quite helpful while I was walking on the street and did not want to be completely isolated from the outside world. 2. On the bus, the XM4 does a decent job at blocking out the noise of the engine. However, every time the bus goes over a bump on the high way, the XM4 emits a 'pop'. My guess is that the abrupt noise from the suspension was too out-of-place for the V\`1 chip, so the ANC in the XM4 just kind of gave up, resulting in the pop (the pop was only present when ANC in on)

Fit

Good sound, poor fit.

The sound quality is good, The in ear fit is not good, I tried all 3 sizes of the supplied silicone ear tips and none fit properly. I tried the proper fit app on my iPhone and could not get an "Okay" on the app. I don't feel they fit securely enough, so I will only use them when I am seated. The Air Pods are not comfortable for any lengthy listening session

They only pair with one device at a time!

I wanted to pair them with my laptop and my phone, so that I could switch back and forth between the two. To be clear, I'm not saying that they only CONNECT to one device at a time. That would have been ok, as I don't mind hitting a button or two to switch back and forth. But these ear buds don't do that

Great airpod investment

So I decided to purchase the pros since they won’t slip as easily as the original AirPods (Let me start by saying they came pretty fast, and they were packaged safely!) I’d say this is a great investment, it’s very comfortable and from what I’ve gathered so far on these is you can answer your calls, skip and rewind back with your music as well, it’s very sound proof so if you’re one of those people who do best getting tasks done during work, school, or even at home without noise around you, these are the way to go. I hope this helped someone! :)

Mainly you need to make sure that the actual device fits in your ear they provide a couple of different ear bud pieces and also wing tips for the ear buds. You will want to take your time with this as this will make or break your experience. I had to adjust the wing tips and ear buds about 10 times before I actually got the right fit I enjoyed

Two Weeks In Pretty Good!

I haven't had any issues with poor sound or range either. After running and sweating I let them sit out for a while to dry before putting them into the charging case, I believe this is a mistake the people with failing earbuds are making. They are probably putting them away right after a workout with moisture getting trapped within the drivers ALTHOUGH they are supposed to be waterproof which was my reason for going with these. Ultimately I am very happy with these earbuds, we are in the early days of truly wireless earbuds so they're not perfect but after doing lots of research these were the best option

Warranty

AirPods just died and with Spotify Hifi otw what cans should I invest in?

You should definitely take them to an Apple store, they will probably replace them for free even if they are out of warranty. Last month both of my AirPods Pro (bought on release date, so they were out of warranty) died and had terrible static in both ears. I made an appointment with the Apple store notifying them of the issue, and when I went they ran some tests and just replaced them afterwards at no cost. I’m pretty sure it is a fairly common issue, because they have a dedicated replacement program

DOLLAR STORE LEVEL PRODUCT SUPPORT

I am at the point where their tech support has exhausted me from trying further. I am stuck with defective headphones in spite of what I thought was a great product warranty of 3 years. I think they offer 3 years because it takes them that long to get to solve your problem and/or they are just waiting you out and hoping you'll give up sending them back. My patience has been worn way out
