 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel.  It'S not like the foam that you would use for your backpack uh straps, it's like a very thick foam, and so they they sent me these, and i actually was able to do the install myself to upgrade this original backpack to be capable of handling a lot More weight and to just improve the frame and that's cool, i think it's important to reuse. You know products like this and to turn them into more functional, updated products when we can so we don't just throw out perfectly viable and useful backpacks and other type of hiking this one. So that's it! That'S my review of the bag. I think it's a great backpack, i i think it's um worth checking these out

 And then here i've got a long, a large version of a telephoto a little bit longer than your traditional 70 to 200, but essentially the the same grouping of lenses all right. So i want to take you inside of the backpack a little bit now. This is the main chamber: we've obviously opened up the backpack flap. This is fairly thin

 This bag is a 20 liter backpack. It is really a hiking backpack that has a camera core built in, and that is exactly what i was looking for and why was that? What i was looking for? Well, i had been living with the peak design bag and you can see a review on my channel of that bag for uh two years and i like that bag. I think it's very functional, but i was taking it hiking and i was taking it outside or more often i was ditching it and just throwing my camera into my hiking backpack, and that was not a good situation and the reason why was the lack of padding And comfort overall, on that peak design bag, i don't actually think i want anything different when i'm shooting in the city. I know that often we're driving to a location, we're taking pictures or we're taking

. So it's a pretty big backpack, but this is the backpack that i've used for like five or six years. It'S so comfortable! You throw this thing on and you can walk for miles and you don't even feel the weight and why is it so comfortable? That'S the real question that we want to answer and we want to see these attributes in the bags that we choose for camera gear, so first thing comfortable, straps, obviously right, but the nice padding and the good form and the heavy duty foam. These are important factors in creating a comfortable, strap

 If you want stuff that needs to stay absolutely dry, this is a well protected area for your important documents and things like that. This bag has been incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable backpack I've ever had that's also a camera bag and, as you can see, this bag expands to infinity. I haven't actually reached a point where this bag is full, where it's overfilled and where it's been too heavy to carry or anything like that

 It opens on the back and you get full access to the whole bag here in the back, and it has a little special feature called the origami compartment here, which basically allows you to turn some storage space into camera space or, like I said, storage space, and You have more volume for other stuff in the back. It'S it's very shallow, I'm an Olympus ambassador and I shoot with Olympus glass, of course, which is small lenses and they fit in perfectly. But if you have slightly bigger lenses, you'll end up putting them in sideways. Like this, I know that for future versions of this backpack there will be it'll, be slightly deeper and then normal full-frame lenses will also fit in upright or the general full frame lens will fit in upright

 They're not just smaller and larger versions of the exact same pack. There are some differences. this one has a laptop compartment on the front. This one has it inside

 They both feature this top flap drawstring top system and then they both have space down in front of the box that actually holds the camera gear and so with compression straps on the sides. Again, this is true for both models. You can stuff the pack as full as you need to and then cinch them down, throw a tripod on the side, and and make it work. Of course, made out of, you know, ripstop nylon

 Back panels are very similar with this sort of ribbed material. It's very comfortable. The biggest thing that I like about the the suspension system here is the waist belt. Now a lot of packs have waist belts

 just like any other outdoor pack you'd expect. They have the same suspension system for the shoulder harnesses here which is great. They both feature internal metal frames which again standard for hiking packs to help distribute the load of the pack down onto your hips rather than on your shoulders. They have or this one has an adjustable velcro thing for adjusting depending on your your torso height which is great can you get a good fit

 why should you write with the backpack and what are the reasons not to? I'm gonna tell you my point of view and then I'm going to present my newest piece of kit. It's the Krieger Trail Nine. Very small compact backpack. Here's the backpack

 I find this Krieger T9 a good solution small enough, barely noticeable when riding and I can put my valuables in a waterproof compartment. I usually carry my Sony camera there. I could fit my drone if I exit the bike and so on. Sometimes I choose not to carry a backpack actually my tank pack the Moscow model no Nomax is really handy because it transforms into a backpack so I can just take it off the bike and walk away with my valuables with me

 So that's it. And I hope you enjoyed this presentation and uh, hopefully it makes you think whether you carry backpack or not and on what purpose. My solution is as good as any other, but I just wanted to give you some ideas. I hope you liked this video and if you did you can push the like button

Kriega T9 backpack

 It'S incredibly good looking and it's surprisingly practical. The 18 litre storage capacity is divided, broadly speaking, into two internal compartments, one that's 10 and one that's eight liters, 10 liters being the one that's sort of mostly water resistant and the one that is eight liters being the one that's fully waterproof, we'll go through it. In a bit more detail in a moment, but obviously it also features this front kind of webbing system, which i really like. It'S something that a i think looks quite cool, but also it's just quite practical for things like rain jackets

 If you have sort of smaller items, flatter things like laptops as well. The inside of this is essentially a dry pack that krieger do actually offer separately as well. It'S white lined, which makes it nice and easy to see things which i quite like as a practicality point of view, and because it's this roll top it's 100 waterproof. And if you're carrying a laptop, then it's fairly likely that that laptop is going to be the most valuable thing that you're carrying and therefore definitely worth having it nice and safe and sound inside the main body on the sort of underside of that roll top compartment

 This is priced at 179, so price per year. That'S pretty damn good going and, as i said as i've had my r25 for 15 years, i can vouch for the longevity of these products, just removing a little bit more storage. So this main compartment here now. This is quite an interesting point for me because i fully assumed, given that, in one of our other video reviews we've just released, we have shown you the krieger max 28, very much designed with the aesthetics and the functions of an urban rider in mind, and i Mentioned how it was a little bit of a struggle to actually get a 15-inch laptop in, which is something that a lot of people probably are going to want to use that bag for, because you're commuting into work

 A lot of people want to carry a laptop. So a 15 inch just about gets in if you've got something slimline. Now with this one, it doesn't mention a laptop anywhere at all in the spec, but it fits far more easily in here. So i have this 15 inch macbook in there and it goes right
