Corsair K63 vs Corsair K95

The best wireless gaming keyboard under $100 that we've tested is the Corsair K63 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It frequently bumps just above the $100 mark, but we've decided to make an exception to keep this keyboard as our pick as there aren't other full-size wireless keyboards offering this level of quality and performance around this price point.

Sure, Corsair has nice lighting software and profiles that are cool, but this just doesn't justify the high cost for a keyboard that will fail in such a short amount of time. It also has poor quality ABS keycaps that have a hollow sound to them and get shiny after just a couple months, but since you can't really change them out easily it just means this thing is going in the trash. Good thing I bought it before the price hikes, because it is just not worth the price.

Ideally I was searching for an ergonomic keyboard like the Microsoft or Logitech options, but there are virtually no ergonomic keyboards with mechanical keys (nice layouts),... unless you go deep in the rabbit hole with very high prices, and questionable designs

The caps-lock key needs to be smaller or designed in such a particular way to keep gamers from accidentally pressing it while gaming.

I’ve been looking around for a Backlit TKL wireless gaming keyboard. The options I have found are meh. The Corsair k63 is great, I have the wired one now, but the wireless is only blue LED. Then the Logitech TKL wireless is just WAY too expensive

The keyboard has a solid build, and comes with a comfortable wrist rest that most people should be satisfied with. The doubleshot PBT keys are durable and have a nice feel to them, and the good tactile feedback helps reduce typos, but the keys can feel a bit heavy. I think the Keychron K1v4 can be a good choise but the biggest problem with all shop/brand I've discover on this /r/ is the layout. I use a CH-FR layout and it's painfull to find.

Soo... what are my options? I'd like some recommendations for either EXACTLY the layout I'm looking for, or programmable keypads that have more than just number keys

The CUE software is relatively easy to use, however with the advance settings turned on, the learning curve can rise quite steep. I'll update this review in a years' time and see when it has withstood the test of time, for now I have used it quite often and it has stayed very strong with one week of usage.

But I was committed to giving it as much of a shot as I could. Eventually I got to the point where these issues seemingly disappeared as I got more familiar with the sensitivity of the keys. Zero of these issues affect me now, and I 100% believe these are user error cases. Again, it's easy to dismiss it as a bug, but technically it is user error

Both of these were community developed, are light weight, and compatible across hundreds of custom keyboards. Also, custom keyboards don't require any of their software to run in the background, so you don't run into any issues with anti-cheat.

It, too, feels very high quality and heavy. Aaaaaanyway. I'd like to finish by assuring you I'm not paid in any way to review this keyboard favorably; I just really appreciate a quality design, executed brilliantly, and this is it. Any company that wants to put this kind of effort into a product deserves to be praised!

It's a full-size, 104-key device, with an extra six dedicated macro keys at the left edge bringing the total number of keys to 110. The black keys, wrist rest, and just barely gray aluminum top panel restrain the RGB lighting coming through from the switches underneath, but also create strong contrast that makes the colors look especially vibrant.
