Logitech G733 Lightspeed

When I can go out to the dollar store and pick up a wireless headset for $5 that can pair with all my devices - not offering this functionality is too big a miss to ignore.

Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

He is using it for work too. The mic is also outstanding. Crisp, clear audio from both my female alto voice and his baritone gruff voice. He has used mine on MS Team meetings (windows 10) for work, and when we play cooperatively on PS4 video games, on PS Plus, using different PS4s

Battery Life

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

This is the third Corsair product I've encountered issues with, either within a very short amount of time using or out of the box. The wireless function of the headset is nice and convenient, the headset is comfortable, and the audio quality is good AFTER installing iCUE and setting your preferences. The battery life is abysmal. My product had issues out of the box, where it will not charge beyond 78% regardless of how long it is charging, and the battery drains at what seems like a very quick pace (two hours and half that 78% charge is gone)

Logitech G733 Lightspeed

(1/1)

I don't understand where Logitech missed with these, these have the looks, the comfort, and the battery life, with all the audio tuned down and volume levels decreased. Either these drivers are really bad, or my pair is defective, either way these are being returned. Do yourself a favor, any of the headsets I mentioned above are much better. The battery life is worthless if rgb sucks 10 hours off of it on console and its pc only to turn this off

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Logitech G733 Lightspeed

Let me start with the negative: The only adjustment to the headband is to switch how it is attached to the headphones. Headband is elastic, so will likely stretch over time. Also, Logitech does not sell the earpads. Just the headstraps

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here

I know this won't be a popular review, but it has to be said. Edit: 10/23/2020 I can confirm that these are de-tuned, using a pre-amp on pc I boosted the db to 1.5 and the volume level is up 20% more than stock settings and of course this will drain the battery faster. For the price, these are a big negative from me

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

Logitech G733 Lightspeed

This is what I look for in gaming headphones in order: * Positional audio - I can clearly tell if an enemy is on the floor above me while also being behind me and moving left to right. Not all gaming headphones do a good job of this, but the G733's do. * Good wireless connection - They've stayed reliably paired since I got them with no fuss. * Comfort - They are really comfortable right out of the box

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Logitech G733 Lightspeed

(1/1)

Cheap headsets do a poor job of picking my voice out of background noise, and I end up being suppressed more than anything else. While gaming with friends, they have expressed concerns that I am being smothered with a pillow, have fallen out of my chair and my headset slid across the room, or that I am sleep-gaming. Right out of the box, this headset has put all their worries to rest. It transmits my voice at a volume that no longer requires them to turn their game volume nearly all the way down just to hear me
