Overall it has a good amount of pockets and is a good light-weight option for less intense hikes. The pictures are from my first hike with it, which was about 5 miles and involved a lot of scrambling up rocks. Overall it held out well. The only thing I would've liked on this was a waste strap

I love using my borealis backpack for both work and my weekend hikes. The section for my laptop is great and it's also comforting knowing that it's protected with the padding inside. The straps are great and comfortable when I take it out for a hike and carries just about all you'll need for a good long hike trip. Would definitely recommend it for its range of features
