My only concern is that, when in the standing position, the monitor is too close to my face. I have a widescreen monitor, so I find myself turning or holding my head to the side more frequently in order to get the whole view on my screen. One of the reasons I purchased this desk was to help alleviate neck strain, so it has been a challenge to figure out a new system. I would prefer to have my monitor 4-6 inches further away from my face

I requested that my employer purchase the Ergo Desktop MyMac Kangaroo for Apple computer users, when I returned to work after spine surgery, because it was impossible for me to sit for more than 20 minutes at a time without pain. Ironically, I needed the surgery in the first place because I had spent at least 12 hours a day on the computer, in an uncomfortable chair, at a desk that was a bit too high for me, for two and a half years. Most office desks are built for an average man, at least four inches too high for an average woman. I have arthritis in my right hand, and I need to write with a pen that has smooth ink flow and these pens suit my needs. I don't have to exert much pressure on the pen in order to produce a bold line of text on paper. These pens are much darker than your BIC ink, which looks grayish, when compared to this ink. You won't be disappointed by these pens

I would NOT recommend the available detachable side work surfaces, I stuck mine in a closet after a few minutes of trying it out. They slope downward and don't latch securely. That particular component is poorly engineered in my opinion. One gripe with this company, and I guess it's a small one but it does strike me as a bad way of doing business, is that they bill the full amount to your card when you place the order and then don't ship for several weeks

Love the results and should be a staple in anyone's office desk or home as it won't let you down!
