 Max out setting with dlss performance + rtx ultra = 110 to 120fps on single player mode. I cant hear any fan noise, the info menu shows a 'Smart HDR On or Off.

 And the best part is, EVGA aren't even the only company who attempted to raise the panel limits that high. ASUS did it as well, but the difference is that ASUS did it on the liquid-cooled card. The ROG RTX 3080 Ti Strix LC, and LC stands for liquid cooling if you have trouble keeping up. And from TechPower's findings, this graphics card seems to benefit way more from having that insanely high power limit, simply because it has the cooling to really make use of it all

 It is nice to have, there's other cards that also have this kind of high power limit, and they do the higher power limit way more justice because of the better cooling. And it's not even an EVGA fanboy thing as far as I can tell, because there's literally other cards in EVGA's lineup that also have this insanely high power limit. Those cards being the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hybrid, which is called in a similar hybrid manner to the Strix LC from ASUS, and also the EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra Hydro, which is also a water-cooled card, but this one being intended for custom water loops. So are you sensing a pattern here? Yes, this feature is clearly more intended to be something for water-cooled cards

EVGA RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA has a DIRTY SECRET?!

368 voltage, and 32 gigabytes of G-Skill Royal Z PC 3200 memory for those timings, and then the EVGA RTX 3080, I got the power limit raised to 112%, which is as high as it goes, I raised the core clock additional 120 MHz, and the memory added an additional 800 MHz fan profile, is that auto, and then the fan overclock bios is on the normal settings, so I'm not using the overclock bios. So first I'm going to test 3DMark Time Spy, and then we'll see the scores, and then I'm going to test other games, such as, let's see, we got Cyberpunk 2077, Doom Eternal with ray tracing, Red Dead Redemption 2, What's Up Legion, and then I am running Windows 11, so it probably will, you know, maybe slightly affect the results, not sure if it's going to help or make them worse, and then I'm also going to test Flight Simulator 2020, and Forza Horizon 4. So stay tuned for those tests, and then the first thing I will show next is the 3DMark Time Spy, and then we'll show 3DMark Port Rail, so stay tuned, and there's the card, and we'll get it, the case closed up, so it's in a closed environment, and I'm going to run a test, so stay tuned for that video, and we'll take things from there.  In my opinion the 6700 XT just wasn't priced competitively enough and with the shortcomings of Radeon GPUs that I've mentioned a few times now the RTX 3070 just seemed like the better deal. So that's where we are today the RTX 3080 is the best choice at its price point and the RTX 3070 fought off the 6700 XT relatively easily but it's been a bit of a struggle with the RX 6800 as in my opinion there's no clear winner there. As for the new RTX 3070 Ti how does it slot into all of this? With an MSRP of $600 it's priced to compete with either the RX 6800 or RX 6800 XT. It's three and a half percent more than the 6800 but eight percent slower and then eight percent cheaper than the 6800 XT but 18 percent slower

 Welcome back to Harbour Unboxed. Now, last week Nvidia released the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and feedback from reviewers was almost unanimously negative. There really wasn't a lot to like, in short Nvidia was charging 80% the cost of an RTX 3090 but only gave gamers half as much memory and then a much smaller found edition graphics card. Essentially it was an RTX 3080 with 2GB more VRAM for a 71% increase in price and the extra cores amounted to about a 10% boost on average so a negligible performance uplift

 As we've seen many times in the past Nvidia's 2x FP32 design does work better at 4K and as a result the 3070 Ti is now 15% slower than the 6800 and 22% slower than the 6800 XT. So still pretty big margins there but they are smaller than what was seen at 1440p. Unfortunately though the additional memory bandwidth didn't help the 3070 Ti at 4K as here it was just 7% faster than the 3070. Then picking between the RTX 3070 and RX 6800 has been difficult and ultimately I've been unable to decide on this one

 That's really a minuscule upgrade to the core but thankfully Nvidia has tweaked the memory opting to upgrade the GDDR6 memory with GDDR6X though sadly it features the same 8GB capacity. The upgrade to 19Gbps memory from 14Gbps means that the 256bit wide memory bus now has a theoretical peak bandwidth of 608GBps up from 448GBps so that's a 36% increase. This means while we're only looking at a piddly 4% increase in cores, the 3070 Ti does improve memory bandwidth by 36%. How much this will improve performance overall will likely vary from game to game so that might help make the testing a bit more interesting

 I understand the business side of it, but from a consumer perspective, i'm just i'm fatigued and i'm frustrated with this grind and the here's another card another month. Another card - and you guys are sick of it, and so am i so i get that it's really trendy and you guys love when reviewers get all mad on nvidia, but i'm just i'm tired of it. I'M this family is done this family. As far as i'm concerned are right off, it's never going to be in stock

 As you can see, it's just like, like a mini 3080 at that point, uh, which is a little bit better, more efficient in terms of the cooler, but for whatever reason they found that they needed to update the cooler and not just reuse. This, like they did here, even though they're, both based on the exact same ga 104 core. However, when it comes to performance, it's interesting just like we said in a 3080 ti. We talk about hypotheticals here that being pricing now, the only hypothetical we can actually go off of is the msrp most people who buy the founders edition card, if you buy them at microcenter at best, buy you're going to get them for the msrp at least the First ones that are sold and whatever ones trickle in after that and then you're going to be dealing with scalper pricing and price inflation and supply and demand as uh

 I personally wouldn't take the performance hit to a 30 70 ti to turn ray tracing on. I don't know, i think. Maybe i get that it's trendy to hate on nvidia. That'S like the cool thing

 Well it works more then good! Above 160fps on uwqhd, with overclocked this works amazing no overheating problems at all, always stay cool and quiet, it’s a very big card I attached some photos vs 3060tis, it gives some explanation to why this runs so cool at 57°C on ultra on vanguard

 - And I know that not everyone agreed with our conclusion last time, but the truth is, I stand behind what I said - a 100 %, because no matter who you are, are you a filthy, scalper looking to make a quick buck Or are you a Gamer, who happens to have that much money to spend on a graphics card, Whichever one you are both of the new Ti variants at MSRP, of course, are going to be a much better deal than anything that you're getting on the secondary market. And sure you can Compare these cards to suggested pricing from a year ago, but the reality of the situation is that outside of the handful of cards that NVIDIA sells through their web store those cards at those prices. They don't actually exist. And that might make you mad, but shooting the messenger isn't gon na get you anywhere and besides, I did warn after all

The 3070 Ti ends up sitting much closer to the 3080 than its performance would suggest at 311 Watts, peak and 151 Watts average that's about 20 % more power draw than it's non-Ti cousin, and most of this appears to come from the up clocked memory. Considering how few additional GPU cores there are, and the fact that when we look at core clocks, the 3070 Ti consistently runs about a 100 megahertz lower than both the 3070 and the 3080.

 As well, despite it having just 4 % more cores than its namesake and a whopping 29 % fewer cores than the RTX 3080. Now, since the testing is happening so soon after our RTX 3080 Ti review, we're gon na be using the same bench in the same Patch state and we'll even be wearing the same shirt and the same underwear from lttstore.com freshly washed, of course, though., The only thing that could be considered a win here is the energy benchmark where the 3070 Ti's additional memory bandwidth pushes it far enough away from the 3070 to find that middle Ground again

, So what have we learned? Then? It turns out that fast memory on a GPU can be good, very good, but then it's also very situational., And we also learned that fast memory with more cores is better than just fast memory in every conceivable way.. Okay, we didn't really learn either of those things, but it's always nice to get refresher, isn't it And on that subject, let's talk, cooling

 To be honest, so at least it's a smaller winner for a gamers who also has a lot of money to spend on gpus if you can actually again get stock off, because it's not necessarily just miners. That'S the problem: it's just the gpu shortage or chip shortest thing across the entire world, which does hammer gpus and just everything, uh chip, wise. So of course that is going to boost our prices. Now it's around the 200 more than the 3070 for the 3080, but the boost in performance is a such a large jump and i would honestly rather save up and go for the 3080

 It'S entirely the opposite than what the 3080 tire was again being much closer towards the 1390. Now the overall specs are just a slight a bump up compared to the 30 70 and also with the same amount of vram, but the biggest difference between the 370 and the 370 ti now is that the 3070 ti does have a gddr6x, a memory like the 3080 and say it offer just a gddr6 non-x memory now this does give it a boost in a memory, clock, speed and then also a bandwidth, but also it does draw quite a bit more power which we'll get into. But now is that going to be the necessary performance of boost that we'll see in a games, or will it not well we're going to find out looking for a vpn but want to pay a list and get even more of features? Well, surfshark is the vpn to get i've been using them for more than a year now, and i'm definitely not disappointed. Surfshark has over 3200 servers across the globe with a limited speed drops, unlike some others, get all the standard advantages of a vpn like no geo restrictions to access us and netflix from different countries
