 These are taiwanese made. Ykk zippers, i can tell you already, which is okay um, they tend to be smooth. Go rocks take a little bit to get broken in, as you can see, um like this will take a little while to get smooth, whereas something like this bullet, which is already broken in, is just very smooth, but that's okay anyway, so that's it packed out. That'S kind of what it looks like i really like the shape the shapes a little bit more like this

 They gave one of my favorites. The radio ruck is a goruck bag. That is small. Basically, it's for small frame people - i am a short short person um, it's it's! It'S short in stature like a and normally a gr1 would be something like this i'll show you next to my bullet

 I think that that's going to be good in use to be honest, i'll put this guy in there there you go so i've packed out like that and there's like still space on top of where this dead matsuda is so wallets in this pocket. Since i don't use my wallets very much and uh, let's see so my keys in this front guy my mask because i tend to use those things and this top one i'll put my corona stuff this and this this zippers are all ykk. good thing is that my sneaker can lay flat at bottom meaning i can carry more, but for commute it's a bit too thick like GR2?

Laptop compartment does not fit 15 inches laptop ... maybe 14 inches laptop will fit, my lenovo x390 is okay, but msi gs65 does not fit, not even close

I would say if the laptop compartment can really fit my MSI GS-65, it would be the perfect Ruck

with laptop sleeve in the main compartment is okay (a little tight), but than there is no false bottom protection for it

So very nice bag not exactly like the gr1 little subtle differences.  But still you get this deeper rook for maybe deeper items that, whatever you carried, maybe a larger camera bag that you're going to throw in here some other items. They just want that deeper size. This would be the right size for you important to note, though. The big difference between this and a gr1 is the lack of the frame sheet

 So that's just something to point out again: just an all-around carry bag. I would not recommend putting steel plates in it if you were going to use steel plates i'd go with a rucker for sure, but if you were crazy enough to just want to get one bag and use it for everything and have that bomb proof pocket, you Could put a plate in here show a picture here of what that looks like how much gap you have to put a steel plate. I put the 20 pounder in there just to show you how big that would fit the 30 pounder would fit uh and it again it fits just fine, there's a little bit of a play in there, but not much, and i wouldn't recommend putting in the elastic Pocket because it's just going to fly out, crush whatever results is in there, maybe even slide up the hitch in the heads, and it's also rain proof. So, just like all the other goruck bags, um the material and the quality, is just fantastic and it's a rainproof bag

 Zippers are easy to use and move with ease. They do not get caught up on the material or things in the pack. The pockets are well placed and gear inside each pocket is easily accessible. The suspension of this pack is comfortable and provides a bunch of freedom and movement

Fabric quality is excellent, the chest pocket fits my iPhone 11 in an otter box. Daisy loops on the rear and right side hip belt were great for snapping carabiners on, or even lashing a smaller day pack on.

 The miracle oh they're good, but if you want to take it off, I can show you very quickly how it works a little bit. So here you can see the shoulder straps move independently of the hip fins and then the clever thing is that they're actually connected. So that's the thing that acts as a dampener to make the load stable and not have a problem in terms of okay yeah. The other thing that's really smart about it is it's very easy to adjust the back length simply do that, pull that tab out, move it up and it's clipped in and away you go, so you can lend it to your friend yeah

So we're with Neil at the mammoth stand we're going to talk about the the new were spying range of packs, which seemed pretty high-end techy sort of bags here, sort of airplane, trekking mountaineering tactics, yeah exactly so.  A little bit more, I just loaded this up, just to kind of show you guys how it looks had she loaded. I find a lot of reviews. They kind of do some empty bags and make as much sense to me Walternate belay device. Then we can see the package helps no point in the site too much what I'm gon na do actually, for you guys, another really nice feature of this pack in particular, we do close at the top angle, actually got this clamshell design on the front, so that Will open up and give you access to your pack? She beautiful fulfillment as well, got nice large pocket over top a light mesh pocket good for phone, etc

 This pack is adjusting the height on it. So you can see at the top here. It'S got ta, be this extra large, large and medium tab. We do, is you just pull it up and you can see it's actually extending this length here and has given you more distance between your hips, then your shoulders

 It'S got these guys here, so these are kind of like I guess, compression straps, but also can be used so like hold down trekking gear or ice axes. Whatever you want so top lids just trying to mess around got like nice, big pocket in there she's great super useful of flying, especially jackets and stuffs what I would tend to use it for okay, UFC and I'll. Sam Shaheen using the Mammut Trion Spine 50 Pack.After about 10 days using the pack, it looks essentially brand new on the outside, but the interior shows some wear on the lightweight lining fabric. None of the lightweight fabric plays a very important structural role in the pack, so even big rips / failures in this fabric wouldn’t render the pack unusable in the backcountry. But the contrast between the heavy outer fabric and the ultralight lining fabric strikes me as odd

The pack also has small velcro straps to secure the handles of the tools, and both tool attachments work as expected

Bagging 14ers in October

-It is bulky/heavy, (particularly shoulder and hip straps), I understand it's certainly not designed/marketed for true alpinists/climbers as we prioritize “fast and light”, but there are some features here(spine tech, full zipper access, durability, and Cool-factor, that I believe could really catch on, if lightened up and re-sized just a bit. Do it do it do it, please. :)

Additionally, as a 35 yr OLD multi-day trip climber, I'm moving away from ultra-light packs, and toward a bit more comfort, utility, versatility, and durability (all of which I found in the trion spine!) - I really appreciated the:
