It utilizes a unique body-length handle that makes filling super easy in sinks and doesn't lose its position and rigidity, even when full. The screw-top lid is well built and easy to open and close, without the worry of threading it incorrectly. All components come completely apart, so it's easy to rinse out and dry, and there's also a drying hanger that we found especially useful in our kitchen. The flow rate is great, and it has a magnet to quickly adhere to a pack's chest strap &#40;if also magnetic&#41;, preventing the hose from flopping around while you're in motion. Without a zip-top, there are no rigid corners to poke into your back through a thin pack.
This is not our favorite for ultralight excursions, as it's a touch heavy at 7 ounces. Also, when empty, the rigid handle doesn't allow the user to roll it up into a small package. It's also difficult to fit a scrub brush into the body of the bladder because of the smaller lid opening. However, these minor drawbacks are us being hyper-critical. After testing many bladders over multiple years, this is the one that has impressed us the most. For those seeking a reliable bladder that can be used for most purposes, this user-friendly model is our top choice.

 The included bladder is a good one — a partial plastic frame and a handy clip keeps it from slumping when half full, the filling port is easy to open and fits ice cubes, and there are baffles in it to keep the water from sloshing around while riding. And at the hose end of the bladder, the bite valve allows a decent flow, a switch cuts off flow when needed, and a magnet holds it on the sternum strap.

I put a fair amount of time in the Endo 15 this summer and fall. At 15 liters, it’s one of the larger bike packs that Gregory makes, and it’s a size that I find works well on bigger rides where I want to bring more water, more layers, and more “just in case” type items. Gregory also makes the Endo 10, which (you guessed it) is a 10 liter version that’s essentially the same pack with a shallower main compartment.

But an all-day ride calls for a pack that can carry a lot of weight comfortably, and that’s where the Endo 15 comes in. Fully loaded down, the Endo 15 carries quite well, and if I kept everything cinched down, it did a good job of not swinging around all over the place on rowdier trails.

This is the 2nd one of these I've bought, that have failed. Silly me. First one I used about 15 times, it sprung a leak just in the middle of the bladder when I was deep in the Grand Canyon. This new one I've used 1x before this trip when the hose tore away from the bladder, losing all my water in minutes

Seems to be made from good materials and we’ll see how it holds up. I love Gregory’s system compared to other bladder systems.

Let'S you see that you can see the cuts in the foam that allow that to breathe while staying just a slight bit stretchy and I'm really comfortable so in the top pocket on the rafter. Six is really where the bladder goes. This is Ospreys hydroformed bladder

So if you do run with this pack, you you'll be seen at dusk, the stretch pockets great for stashing, something like a jacket, a little vest action, and then we have a front pocket, got some storage behind that stretched pocket. Osprey Raptor 6 Hydration Pack

 Might be nicer if it was wide enough for 2 tubes + tools (I jump from one bike to another often).  The last features I like a ton are the small goodies compartments on the belt region (can easily store 2, maybe 3, granola bars on each side. Also, massively love the magnetic mount for the water tube; works perfectly. The helmet grabber on top is also useful when packing for the long trips and keeping it all in one spot

Biking and running and hiking, oh my!

 I spend a lot of time in the saddle each week (almost daily). Also, this is not the first hydration backpack I’ve owned. Like many other reviewers, I owned a multitude of hydration packs over the years, primarily CamelBak and a few lesser-known brands from big box retail stores.  ADDITIONALLY In this series of Osprey hydration pack there are four models

The Best Hydration MTB Backpack

 Very easy to use/clean with plenty of capacity. Most importantly, it fits my large frame (long torso/weight lifter with xxl shoulders/chest/back and normal waist). The pack is very stable and comfortable while riding though chunk. Stayed pretty stable while launching too

This pack is a winner!

 At 6'1" at 230lbs I had some problems with the hose not being able to reach all the way across my chest to hook into the magnet. I fixed this by detaching the nozzle and feeding the hose through the other loop on the hydration bladder (see picture). This extended the reach of the hose so it fits comfortably now.
