 Replacing each the left and right arm rest after they snapped off (they're held together by plastic in the back, which can break over time from using the arm rests) -- relatively easy, if frustrating repair. 2. Replacing the entire lower arm assembly, as the arm rests would no longer stay secured, and would always fall down no matter what I did. This one was supposed to be performed by a technician, but due to the COVID pandemic, the best they could do is send me the parts and let me figure it out

 But man, at this price tag, you'd expect the chair to hold together for more than 2.5 years (and certainly not have 4 different parts break in that timeframe) -- and, when it did fail, you'd expect extremely responsive and helpful support.

  I absolutely recommend you opt for a headrest with this chair or any other chair you might purchase. I feel like this point is totally undersold by companies that make office chairs. The fact that Herman Miller does not make headrests standard in all (or at least most) of their chairs is truly baffling

 I was able to demo the chair in their showroom office 20 minutes from my home. A fabric chair was going to cost me roughly $1,000 total and a leather option was $1,500. I ended up finding a fabric Freedom chair locally for $200 used in good condition, so I got a steal. Personally I would look locally first before purchasing new

 I purchased a foot rest. This allowed me to shift the pressure from my lower back back onto my feet which is pushing off the rest. This has entirely gotten rid of my back pain. I highly recommending using an ergonomic foot rest

 I have replaced mine 3 times now. The last time the manufacturer sent me the assembly components to replace all components including some that didn't need to be replaced. I was very luck to have found a person who knows what they are doing and they called the manufacturer for me. I was given this stuff for free

 I am very mechanically inclined so I don't expect everyone know how to load this one spring inside the assembly to put this chair back together. When you take it apart observe very closely where and how that spring is positioned.

 And that's the reason why I actually transitioned away from it here in the office to an Amia chair. It felt like in the tailbone region, it just offers me a bit better support. But at home, I'm still using the Steelcase Leap V2 chair two to three hours every single day. Hopefully you found this video helpful

Really, the entire chair will adjust to fit almost any body type. First, specifically, we look at just seat height range because this is going to be one of the more core components of getting a chair set to you. It will go all the way down to 15 and a half inches and up to as high as 20 and a half inches

I'm not sure if that's a conscious design decision but it's annoying when I try to re-position myself in the chair

 If I try to push myself up with my legs the base tips forward and makes the process of readjusting a bit more fatiguing.  My last issue so far is the clicking noise the chair makes when I lean back in it. I understand why my cheap old chair creaked and clicked when I would move back and forth. For this price would expect the chair to operate silently however

Chair is comfortable but a few build quality issues

Just as the title says, I tried the Steelcase Gesture, the Herman Miller Embody Gaming Edition and the Aeron Remastered. Out of these three, I ended up keeping the Aeron and returning the others.

I bought the Gesture, the Embody and the Aeron and only kept the Aeron. AMA!
