 Um has never been a namestay or sorry a mainstay in the world of ssds. In fact, for the most part, it's been a pretty a budget level, um, okay, nvme, not something that a lot of people recommended, and frankly it's just been dated over time. And when i, when i thought of 670p in my head - and i was like, i was like rolling it around roby like - is this something i'm even excited about it wasn't until i really actually had a chance to sit down and talk to the engineers at intel That i really got to understand and then, when we tested see this is a product that i am excited about now this is going to be an overview

 So if you're a gamer or you're a typical ruby tech person who gets your pc built by me or follows my guides, this is a drive specifically targeted for you. So when i look at these benchmarks, which we're going to start showing through here, let's talk a little bit about when we test them. Now, what we're testing, when we say consumer level, devices and you'll use a product called crystaldiskmark, and if you've watched my 970 evo uh nvme ssd review, which you can check out right here, you can see that i talk a little bit more about what crystal dismart Is but specifically, this means that we're testing things in what are called low queue depth now you're like roby. What does that mean? It means that really there's a single application, making single calls, or maybe two or three calls

 Where, honestly, those prices have gotten down to you, know 20 to 30 dollars and are within 150 dollar range. So when we talk about 150 nvme ssd guess what it's not 150, when it released. In fact, you can go get one of these right now on newegg. For around 120 bucks, which is 15 cheaper than the sn750, it's actually 44 cheaper than the samsung 970 evo plus, which both the sn750 and the 670p were actually trading blows with

 So when you're playing a game, it's making a couple things for save games, etc. That'S called low q depth. So when you see somebody talk about crystal disk mark in their performance numbers, these numbers are representing that specific kind of workload and for you, this is really important.  We run five different tests. We run that 20 times and we calculate the average speed of all of those 20 tests conducted. We run a one gigabyte, a 4 gigabyte, a 16 gigabyte, a 32 gigabyte and a 64 gigabyte test on all the 12 drives to give these results on contacts, and we actually retested everything as well as I mentioned, and I've been rebuilding our storage database. The SM 550 has adequate random, read and write performance of around 4 10 K to 405. A ops and the drive is also fully PCIe, gen3, capable and compatible and should also work in Gen 4 slots 2, and we did actually test this and it works perfectly

Though it's a bit difficult to put them up against one another 1:1 (the nature of the copied data is different in each case), the scores in the AS-SSD copy tests reiterate much of the same story we saw in the PCMark 10 run: the WD Blue holds its own.

Unlike those tests, which copy a file from another drive onto the testing drive and record the raw writing throughput to the drive (or reading capacity off of it to another drive), PCMark 10 is expressing the average bandwidth speed of a transfer when the file is on the same drive. If you're regularly moving files around on your drive from one folder to another, this test is a handy relative throughput measure.

In this test the WD Blue SN550 holds its own against pricier drives like the Patriot P300, while also keeping pace with performers like the Seagate and TeamGroup.

While the three games tested in PCMark 10 are primarily stored in small random 4K, tests from around the web have shown that MMORPGs can more often use the 16K file size, and other genres may go as large as anywhere from 32K up to 128K. However for the sake of these tests, 4K small random read is the most accurate metric to measure the launch speeds of three popular FPS titles: Battlefield 5, Overwatch, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

No, it didn’t. So next I replaced Sintech’s JMS583-based bridge adapter with RTL9210-based “ Extractme M

 I restarted and it crashed again showing up the same message. I've tried so many fixes and even contacted both Western Digital and my laptop's manufacturer's technical supports but neither of them could fix this. However, when I put the old SSD back in my laptop, it starts up just fine. So obviously this WD SN550 has poor compatibility (my laptop is the newest model of its brand)
