There aren't any OLED TVs available at a budget price point, but the LG A2 OLED comes close. The best sounding OLED TV we've tested is the LG G1 OLED. It has the best sound quality compared to the other OLEDs, as it has a good frequency response. It produces better bass than most TVs, and it gets loud with minimal distortion, so you'll hear content clearly. Of course, it's not as good as having a soundbar or dedicated speakers, but the sound quality is still good overall.

It comes with LG's new evo panel, which performs similarly to the Sony A90J OLED, so it has decent peak brightness in HDR, and it's enough to make highlights pop. It also displays a wide color gamut and has impressive out-of-the-box accuracy, so you won't need to get it calibrated to enjoy colors to their fullest. It has a unique design that's extremely thin, and it's meant to sit flush against a wall, but it doesn't come with a stand. Sadly, its gradient handling still isn't the greatest, so you'll see banding in darker shades with content that has shades of similar color. It also has an aggressive Automatic Brightness Limiter, meaning large areas of bright colors are significantly dimmer. Besides that, it's the best OLED in terms of sound quality.

The LG G1 OLED is the best sounding OLED TV we've tested. It's an impressive OLED TV with a unique design. Instead of a stand, it comes with a special wall mount that lets it sit perfectly flush against the wall. Despite the thin profile, it has a good frequency response with better bass than most TVs, and it gets very loud, with a well-balanced sound profile. There's some distortion, even at moderate listening levels, but it's mainly in the bass range and not noticeable with dialogue.

If you don't like the sound on this TV, LG also sells a GX soundbar meant to sit flush against the wall. If you decide to use it with an external soundbar or home theater system, it supports eARC, so it can passthrough high-quality audio from most connected sources, but it doesn't support DTS, which is a bit disappointing. It's also compatible with certain Bluetooth surround speakers, and it has an Auto Volume Leveling feature, so you don't have to deal with blaring commercials or quiet dialogue.

Unfortunately, there's a slight chance of permanent burn-in with OLED TVs. This is a cumulative effect that can occur if the TV is exposed to static elements, like if you plan on using it as a PC monitor or always watch the same network channel with a bright static logo. It uses LG Display's new evo panel, allowing it to get brighter than most OLEDs, especially in HDR. Combined with its excellent color gamut, it delivers an amazing HDR viewing experience. All in all, this is an amazing TV no matter how you use it.

 Mount similar to the no gap mount for the samsung frame, but this lg g1 mount gives you extension because you need to access the ports behind the tv. In addition to the mount, you also get the new and improved lg magic remote. As i stated in my lg c1 review, the old and new remotes are both a bit clumsy and don't really fit the bill when it comes to a 3 000 oled tv. But the new one is a bit better and resolves the issues that bugged me of the past

 Now i did look back to see if anyone else had noticed this color uniformity issue and found hdtvtest notice. What vincent called a pink tint - and i guess it's kind - of a pinkish tint from the side, but i kind of felt like it was changing color from the green to the red a couple times as i went around the tv while the lg c1 below it Remain consistent from all angles, one saving grace is that the lg g1 speakers are pretty solid. The g1 has better overall sound quality, and i could pick out voices better than i could on the c1. That has a bit more bass on the stand, but overall it sounded a bit muddy, so it seems the extra 20 watts of power on the g1 seems to be worth it and looking at all this information, it kind of has me thrown for a loop

 As i stated in my lg c1 review, the old and new remotes are both a bit clumsy and don't really fit the bill when it comes to a 3 000 oled tv. But the new one is a bit better and resolves the issues that bugged me of the past. This includes the remote sitting flat on a table without wobbling, so it doesn't activate the cursor with the slightest bump of your table and the new smaller enter button scrolling wheel that doesn't misfire as much as the lg c10 g10 remote did, which is a huge bonus That even my kids noticed, the back of the tv is how all lg oled should be all four hdmi 2.1 ports are facing downward tight to the tv and the usb are on the side

LG G1 Gallery EVO OLED TV - Practically Speaking :(

I chose a Sonos Arc because I bought an LG G1 for gaming and the latency on both are fantastic. LG C1/G1 is the best gaming TV and the Arc had the lowest latency and for the price I thought it was a solid choice.

If you want synchronized whole home audio, there is nothing better than Sonos.  If you just want a home theatre and some speakers for music, you can do way better.

Why sonos?ive been an avr user bose addict,acoustimass,301,100 with seperate subs 7 subs i owned in more than 20 years.im not an audiophile,WHY SONOS?for me simplicity,wireless i have an arc,2 sonos one sl and dual subs,and im loving it,for music i also love it for movies its amazing,there are better 9 speakers with avr ofcourse,but with my system yes its expensive but i love how it sound.now we have atmos music and hd music,and for me its sounds really good

Hi all,
I'm on the verge of replacing my current setup (Beam gen 1 + 2 x three).
And I have a 12m2 (130 feet) living room and no other Sonos devices.

I was thinking an arc, sub and 2 x five (I listen to a lot of music, that's why five)
But then the cost will be the same as the new Sony HT A9 + sub which I've seen brilliant reviews for or a B&amp;O beosound stage plus 2 nice speakers for music.

Can't make my mind up, it's a lot of money to spend and it feels like Sonos is no longer what they used to be, the competition has us now up to par if not better and they've increased their prices for no apparent reason.
 
I'm asking here because I know I'll get real responses and not just fanboys, I've seen really good fair discussion here.

So what do you think? Why Sonos?

Why sonos?

LG needs to improve the box and packaging (over 110lbs) for larger TVs to safeguard against delivery abuse and mishandling by terrible bulk delivery companies. TV is almost 90lbs and will require minimum 2-person setup with GX TV stands (purchased separately).

Best Picture OLED TV for Movies with Gaming

 I have to say, though i do have one criticism about this tv, in fact, any current lg tv, and that is web os 6, this home screen menu, which, as you can see, takes a few seconds to populate. It is a good idea, show all the recent and popular shows across different apps up front, so you don't have to then go into each one to browse it's just a bit too slow. I would love an option whereby we just get a smaller, lower third menu. Like older web os versions, it would be faster, it would let you keep watching what's on in the background, while you navigate if lg's watching, then for me, i would love a full screen option and a minimized option for this home screen

 I did that straight away. You do also have the option to use the tv as a kind of iot hub for your smart home tech, although i don't have a smart fridge or washing machine just a bunch of philips hue lights and, to be honest, i do find the interface a bit Slow sometimes so it's not something. I'Ve really felt the need to use, but this thing is jam-packed with features chromecast, airplay, 2 alexa and the google assistant. You don't have to use any of these, but they're nice to have so far so good

LG G1 OLED TV Long Term Review - Still Worth Buying?

 I submitted a report to their support/engineering and they still have not fixed this. They should never assume default as wired - let the user specify what to use and when.  An iPhone allows you to select the wired headset or BT headset, speaker - it does not assume wired as default only.  (b) No ESPN+ app -- is this a joke?  How do I watch sports? I have to go to the browser and manually logon using the very slow browser window and good luck with all the typing

   Shouldn't they make it mandatory that the app has to allow for Magic control - otherwise it's an inconsistent user experience.  (e) The magic remote control - come on have it backlit, it's really hard to see the buttons in a dark theatre room.  (f) Search is confusing - it constantly finds things on youtube that are dated.  If I am searching for Conor Mcgregor, I am looking for his fight tonight - list that first, not everything on youtube

Excellent screen but with major flaws

 Here. You can see i'm controlling it really easily. It'S got a little uh cursor here and here we can even go back into the menu and i'll show you what the home screen looks. Like so lg redesigned the home page for 2021, this is brand new

 To begin with, and this g1 is even more expensive, this is a 65-inch version here, there's also a 77 and a 55-inch version. This 65 is 500 more than the mainstream c1 series for 2021. The lg makes the difference. This g1 has a gallery design, really slim great looking on the wall, and it also has a new evo panel

 Is it worth the extra money? Well, you can hang a standard, oled tv on the wall and it's super thin too, and it looks really good and unless you're you know going right up against the wall and staring at the side. You know it's hard to tell the difference, but you know if you're gon na actually spend the extra money for this television to get that better evo panel. That gallery look is a really nice bonus, so lg did a couple new things for 2021 as well. This is a new remote control very similar to the old one holds in the hand, really nice, but it's less of a peanut shape more of a standard, oval still a whole bunch of buttons on here
