 The hinged kickstand gives plenty of scope to angle the iPad Pro display exactly where I want it and it folds away discreetly when I'm not using it. The detachable keyboard allows the ability to use the iPad without the actual keyboard attached which saves on the overall bulk of holding the iPad for browsing or reading as well as help reduce the overall weight of it quite considerably. With the iPad Pro 11 inch weighing 270 grams once this case is attached this increases it to 719 grams overall and with the keyboard cover attached on top the overall weight goes up again to 1039 grams that's over half a kilo extra in total weight on top of the bare iPad 11 inch that's sitting inside so you can imagine that the iPad with the combo touch attached starts to get a little bit heavy if you were to carry the whole thing around with you or in your backpack but overall it's still much lighter than the MacBook Pro at 1.5 kilograms and a little lighter than the MacBook Air at 1

 So keep watching for my review. So over the years since the iPad was first released we've seen it grow into quite a portable productive device. Alongside iPadOS updates we can now run powerful productivity apps, multitask between them, run two apps in split screen view and use the Apple pencil for sketching and much more.  It has hard plastic edges and framing in it, with the outer finish of it being a soft fabric. So the edge is all the way around, kind of like an iPhone case, has plastic all the way around it. And the framing of the case itself is plastic. It seems to be really sturdy

 And the plastic edges help to keep the iPad safe. It helps add rigidity to it. And for the 12.9 model like I have, the case weighs 780 grams

 It's great. Bottom line, if you're looking for a good keyboard for your iPad, whether it be a new iPad you got or even an old one and you want to upgrade to a keyboard, this has to be the best option to go with. And if you want to get the Apple Magic keyboard, there's nothing wrong with that. But I just, I find it hard to deal with whenever it costs that much more

 So you would initially think since there's a lip there, you'd be pulling on that, but that's actually pulling on the iPad side and not the lid or the keyboard side. It's kind of upside down, honestly. So I wish there was a little flap here or like a tab or somewhere where you could insert your finger and make it easier to open. That is one of the things that I find most funny about this and one of the things that I find most frustrating with this keyboard

 On the Logitech Touch Combo keyboard, by contrast, it's never actually going to switch from deleting individual characters to entire words. So it does mean that if sometimes you want to delete a large string of words that you've typed, it's just going to feel like a bit sluggish and not particularly responsive, which I find a little bit irritating. It's not a huge deal, but it's still kind of annoying. Nonetheless, you can still use Apple's regular shortcuts

 Just be aware before you buy that there are unfortunately a few disappointing features, like the keyboard functionality and the general level of responsiveness of both the keyboard and the trackpad. But these issues are really mostly small and they shouldn't be deal breakers. And I'd absolutely recommend this case if you are thinking about buying something high quality to protect your iPad Pro.  And also one benefit of the material is that you're not going to get fingerprints and smudges over it so easily. So it's going to be able to look clean for quite a while. The different folding options and positions you can have the case in are also generally pretty intuitive. There are pretty much three main options here

 After a week of typing on it I still don't type as well as I do on other iPad keyboards, which is disappointing considering the price point. I like the style of the case and since i work in construction having more protection is a good thing, I carry this ipad around with me over thousands of miles and numerous work sites so having good rugged protection is nice because I don't always baby the iPad like many would. Protection is very good with this case, but it is hefty. This is not a slim low profile case by any means

 I give Apple's integration of the touchpad a 3 out of 5 in iOS 13.5. Hopefully improvements will come soon from Apple.

 I'm not a huge fan of the iPad stand, it works, but it takes up a fair amount of space and more or less requires a desk to sit on. This won't really work on your lap like some other iPad keyboards.  Finally, the major gripe, and this isn't related to the Logitech keyboard itself but rather Apple's current keyboard and touch pad software on IOS. The touch pad can be laggy at times, scrolling can be a chore, the cursor speed awkward sometimes, and while overall the cursor is certainly a win in applications like Excel i still find myself needing to use the touch screen or even preferring it over the touch pad

 So when you press the space bar and it sees your face, it'll unlock. And then when you swipe up on the trackpad, you're in. The arrows on this keyboard are in a T shape, which is something I actually didn't expect to find given how small the keyboard is. It's going to feel slightly more cramped than it would on a larger laptop when you're typing

 The cutout for the USB-C port is a little bit small, so anything that's larger than the stock iPad charger is going to be a little bit too big in some cases. There's also no cutout for the volume buttons, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. You can still easily press the volume buttons through the case, but there's also another option if you don't want to do this at all. If you don't want to press the buttons on the side of the iPad, there's actually another option

 I should also mention that the Logitech Combo Touch is not to be confused with the Logitech Folio Touch. The one that we're talking about is the Combo Touch, and the keyboard is detachable. The Folio Touch, however, does not have a detachable keyboard and instead folds around on the back. The Folio Touch can actually flip around and have it where the keys are not exposed on the back

 The arrows on this keyboard are in a T shape, which is something I actually didn't expect to find given how small the keyboard is. It's going to feel slightly more cramped than it would on a larger laptop when you're typing. You're going to notice that the keys are a slight bit smaller and slightly close together. A lot of this has to do with the fact that this case is for the 11 inch iPad Pro

 The Combo Touch keyboard attaches magnetically, and the magnets do a really good job of holding it down. The keyboard is backlit and actually gets decently bright. I should also mention that the Logitech Combo Touch is not to be confused with the Logitech Folio Touch. The one that we're talking about is the Combo Touch, and the keyboard is detachable

 I was unable to get through to Logitech, so I do not understand why this is the case. It is advertised as a new product, so I am stymied as to why the items have been defaced/altered, and I am concerned that I will not be able to have the warrantee honored if I have problems moving forward. Is this a refurbished or factory second? It is sold by the “Logitech Store” through Amazon, so it should be legit.  I sent the second one back and bought the dark grey version hoping for an unused item

The third one had the Serial Number intact, but it was obviously also a return because the small plastic pouch that was located on the back inside of the product box in my first two purchases was opened and the paper info was carelessly laying on top of the keyboard and not neatly folded within the pouch. I was under the impression from the listing that this was a Logitech store, but from the return info I see the store is called Olive Branch

 I preferred the sand color because the keys are easier to read without backlighting, but am keeping the grey because—at last—I have a SN to register.  I am happy with its performance so far, and have gotten accustomed to its unique magnetic system and find it more adaptable than my old Apple Folio type keyboard. Is this a factory second or refurbished Model?

 I used to type on my iPad on a lap desk while on the couch, but I can't do that anymore. My iPad used to be my "smaller" device for when I didn't want to type on my MacBook Pro, but now it has an even bigger footprint.

- The case is very difficult to open with the Apple Pencil clicked on. I'm not sure how this left the design lab at Logitech, but the keyboard "lid" has a tapered edge and is seamless at the edges. It nestles into the tapered case. So, there's almost no place to grab with a finger to open the lid without sliding a fingernail under the edge
