 If you have a bit of a bigger frame, it might be a slightly tight fit in the bag, is gon na end up looking a little bit small. In my opinion, but if you're looking for something, that's gon na be able to pack down small and still be able to hold a decent amount of stuff, this is gon na be a good option. The bag is offered in two colours here. What we have is a charcoal dark grey and it's also offered in what matador calls coyote, which seems to be kind of a brownish, color and so jumping into the materials the bag is made out of a waterproof 30d ripstop nylon, which feels pretty durable

 It has an impressive build quality. It'S super lightweight: it packs down very small, and I've just been really impressed with how well the weather resistant works on it, even though it's not as comfortable as what I would typically like to have for my day-to-day while on a trip, it's still gon na, be A great option for anybody who's, just looking for something simple, reliable and durable, and so I'm definitely curious to hear what your guys experience has been with packable day. Bag such as these, have you used the matador products, or do you have a favorite packable day bag that I haven't featured on the channel?  So it's been pretty comfortable overall when I filled the bag up with a lot of weight, the straps can start to feel a little bit tiring after a longer day, but for the most part it's been impressive. How they've managed to strike that balance between creating the straps in a way that they can fold up but still provide a fair amount of comfort? It'S also nice that they've been designed to prevent against pinching, particularly because the strap is so thin, as you can see here, it just folds very easily. So with similar backpacks that I've tried in the past, it does tend to dig into your shoulders around the armpit. A little bit so really good job of mitigating that here

 You can see through it completely. This strap still offers a nice amount of padding and meshing material, but it's not very thick, so it still manages to pack down pretty slim and then on the back. You also have this meshing, material and elevated padding to create a little bit of airflow and also just make the bag a little bit more comfortable to wear, especially with a lot of weight. So this is to me kind of the ideal solution at the moment

 You can even keep one of these in the car and they double as an extra shopping bag. It's made of a Cordura fabric which is lightweight, but you are gonna have to be a little bit mindful of abrasions. It's quite durable, but you will find that if you throw it around too much you will get a hole in it and that will affect how waterproof the bag is. But all in all, this pack is a no-brainer to have on your equipment list

 It's also good quality and seem solid.  Unfortunately, the design of the bag is not very good and suffer from multiple issues that makes the construction quality and materials a moot point:  Nitpick-class issues: - the small bag to pack the .. actual bag in hangs inside the bag when unfolded

Could have been great, but not that useable of a bag

 Perfection!  As is required to reduce weight and improve packability, this dayback is not for carrying heavy loads for long periods of time. The straps and internal support structure are quite minimal. It's plenty for the urban adventuring I was wanting but you might find it lacking if you want to carry more substantial gear (15 lbs.+) for trail use

 So if you're looking for an in-between bag, if the 26 liters isn't quite enough, 34 liters is too much, then this would be a perfect sweet spot. Really right in the middle and that's kind of sometimes where I end up. I pack out a 26 liter Gr2 with all those compartments and I think this is fantastic, but it's just a little tight, but the 34 liters is too much so this is kind of fills that niche of right in between. So definitely going to be a keeper

 The 30 liter Able Carry Max. Let's take a look. [Music] Today we're looking at a Carryology Award-winning bag. This is the Able Carry Max and at 30 liters, a little on the upper end of an everyday carry category

 So there's lots of room in here, lots of features, and it's really a fantastic bag. I originally originally wasn't on my list to look at soon it was in the maybe future category, but then I discovered it in multi-cam black and so I had to buy it. And now we are taking a look at this award-winning bag from Able Carry Max. Let's take a look at it, let's do it all right

 obviously there's some. This is right in the middle of that in terms of capacity at 30 liters, so you got that to consider.  It'S like a nice little uh, the capability of of getting my whole water bottle in there when i'm in transit mode is pretty nice because then i don't have to worry about things falling out and i don't have to worry about stuff getting caught on it. So 750 milliliter is where i'd want to be with uh with the water bottle. For this thing, then, on the other side you have this. This is this is a kind of a weird one to me

 It is heavy, it's three and a half pounds by itself, and so then i add my camera and my beef jerky and my headphones and my and my and my all that stuff it ends up. You end up feeling it, but these straps are nice and thick. They distribute that weight over a wide portion of your shoulder and your body, the strap or the padding on the back. You do absolutely feel just straight all the way down with a with kind of like a channel in the middle, so you've got these two pads right here on either side of your back you'll probably end up getting sweaty there, but they've got some good mesh, so Durability and comfort are really strong for me a little bit of like losing points on the heaviness and the heft of the thing, but i actually like the structure of it so much

 That'S where it's nice to have my minimal camera kit right here at literally two batteries and nd filters. That'S it! I'Ve got a microphone on my camera that sometimes i pull off of it. My camera kit is pretty minimal right now. Uh boundary supply just put out these renin pouches

 You got a little zip with a little like a hidden pocket that goes down it's about a hand size for me. So perfect for your passport right up there when you're wearing this thing, it is up against your back up on the top right here, so you can't really get access and i don't think i don't think any. I don't know how good pickpockets have gotten the pickpockets have gotten real good they might be able to, and that would be a sneaky critter, but for the most part i don't think you're gon na have any problem with that. So this is like their sort of security secret pocket kind of nice to have

 It'S easier for you to see everything. That'S in the pack, love it all right, so we're going to start on the lid and then we'll work ourselves into the main section. So on the lid of the pack right, you got two pockets on top one bottom, the top one's a little bit smaller than the bottom one, the smaller one on the top has smaller, zippers and able carry. Let me know that all of the zippers in the pre-production model - you see this one is black, but when the production versions come out, they'll be the same color zippers throughout so they're going to do some color matching, and all of that i ain't going to get Into all that, but it's not going to look this way so interior lining right here is a heavier rip, stop material, very, very heavy duty

 So let's go to the bottom of the bag and then talk all the way around it. So on the bottom, you got that cordura fabric. This is a hard used hardware place so rightfully so they put the cordura fabric on the bottom of this bag so that when you're setting it down, you're, not gon na wear through this fabric, you'll see this little v on the bottom of the bag. That'S what they call their a-frame

 You guys know of being the sternum straps we don't get along on edc packs, but this one's like a fidlocks, got magnets, pretty slick. You know kind of just they kind of find each other like magnets, always do they snap into place and then it's on a slider system, but it's removable and that's probably what i would do with this pack. This is like, i said, pre-production version. So when i get my production version, definitely take the the sternum strap off, and i mean the shoulder straps are very comfortable

 Definitely like that, i mean it's here on these shoulder straps. Then you got this luggage pass-through strap right here in the middle. So you know, if you want to slide this onto your carry-on, you can so now you're carrying two pieces of luggage at once. You know i'm james bond on the weekends type of thing, but i'm super

 But here, we have a simple secret compartment here that's secured down by Velcro and so it's just a little slip pocket for you to put in. Anything that's sensitive or any important cash, things that you just want to hide away, there's a little secret pocket for you there. This is the Able Carry Max on the body. I'm 510

 we have this little zipper path here that gives you access to the frame sheet of the bag. Able Carry loves giving access to the frame sheet if in any case, you want to replace it or take it out completely. But here, we have a simple secret compartment here that's secured down by Velcro and so it's just a little slip pocket for you to put in. Anything that's sensitive or any important cash, things that you just want to hide away, there's a little secret pocket for you there

New Travel Bag From Able Carry - The Able Carry Max Backpack

 The back padding is soft and squishy it's about as thick as the padding on the backpack straps. Has this fabric mesh, give it some air ventilation, as well as these air channels, running down the back. This is what the able carry looks like on me fully packed with about 16 and a half pounds of travel gear. I think this thing is really comfortable to wear

 The shoulder. Straps are wide well padded. The back padding is soft and comfortable, and all the straps and buckles are really easy to adjust the interior compartment on the able carry opens from the top. With this large panel style lid, the organizational style is one large main compartment with two small pockets on the top lid there's one small fabric, zippered pocket on the top and then another larger mesh pocket below that packing cubes work great with this pack able carry, doesn't Make packing cubes for this bag, so i tried a few different sizes to see what works best

 Bottom and false sides, which means that your laptop is not going to be pressing up against the sides or the bottom of the pack ends about right here in the bottom. Taking a look at the carry options, we have several side carry handles this luggage, pass-through, strap and non-stowable shoulder straps. The side carry handles are very sturdy: nylon, webbing, similar to a seat belt material. The handles are thin, but they're well padded, and these things are very well attached to the bag

 This thing is huge and very well protected. This is a 15 inch dell. This thing will hold up to a 17 inch laptop and there's a ton of padding on this thing to keep it protected. There'S this thin firm piece of foam padding right here, there's another piece of padding between the laptop and the main compartment on the back is this frame sheet which i took out of its casing
