  I would give 5/5 stars if the end of the cable itself wasn't so bulky. Perhaps I should have looked into purchasing a slimmer design but as this one is, I had to "bend" the end of the cable to fit in the little area on the back of my TV. Why the TV has a raised lip a few inches away from the HDMI port is beyond me. That's a rant for another day

I bought these cables to connect my Apple TV 4k to my AV receiver then to my 4k TV.  I would assume these run the speeds needed for Dolby VIsion, HDR, etc since whenever I watch something with Dolby Vision, a little icon appears on my TV (Vizio) saying it is receiving a DV signal.  wow! It literally hurt my eyes it was so bright and vibrant. I had to turn down the brightness and color settings back to default nearly, and it looks so much better than the Microsoft brand cable ever could. that's saying something, seeing as how the stock xbox one cable wasn't all that bad. the monoprice has a slightly cleaner more consistent frame rate, tiny bit less input lag, and way better blacks and colors

 I had all my color and brightness settings turned pretty high because most things had dull blacks and overly warm colors. I figured it was some kind of problem with my tv. It's an lg 4k oled, but one of the cheaper ones. however

this is probably as close as you can get to a perfect hdmi cable. I replaced the Xbox brand 4k hdmi that came with the Xbox one x. reviewers praised it as a very nice stock hdmi cable. this 8k monoprice one blows it out of the water though

significantly improved all functions of my tv and xbox

 I then reconnected the cable from my OPPO 203 directly to my LG OLED B7 and got the same test pattern. Needless to say I was very disappointed with the OPPO connections since this was one of the primary reason to purchase the cables to begin with. This cable is clearly not compatible with OPPO. Best cable you can buy for the size and prize, and it does perform at 48gbpsunlike a lot of the other cables which are more expensive and only perform at 18gbps or 40gbps.

This is a great cable for 4K / UHD HDR / Dolby Vision video and Atmos sound, but it has skyrocketed in price in less than 3 months. It has gone up in price 2 1/4 fold (225%) since early July 2022 (less than 3 months ago).
