Pilot Juice Up Gel Pen vs Zebra Pen F-701

I am always on the lookout for good pens and let me tell you these are it! These pens are well built, to where I've used the entire ink in them without any breaking of the clip or the button. They write very well on any paper I've thrown at it, now matter how glossy. The ink is a good black, and does not smear (I'm a lefty). The pen is comfortable and doesn't slip in my hand

I have to imagine this machined stainless steel pen is more resistant to bending than the plastics, and stronger than either the metal Space or the metal RiteRain bullet. - Great Knurling. Fine, sharp knurl around the area where your fingers naturally fall, near the writing end of the pen. There probably is a consideration here

I have never experienced ink bleeding with this product either after using up several of them. The only issue is that they are thin, so their ink reservoir is small than a product like Pilot G2.

Not very happy I just bought this pan and it was already out of ink the cartridge that goes in the ink pen is very small and runs out quickly not good project had to replace my ink cartridge already

I just don’t love this box of them. I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what, because the original one I bought at a Japanese bookstore is just the best (disposable) pen ever. These five are all dry and write unevenly. They also don’t like to write when held at an angle, and they aren’t as dark as my other Juice Up pen

So I figured I'd switch to the F-402 which seemed like it was made completely out of thicker steel than the F-301. It was, and it did work great for about a year, but then it broke and found out that under the rubberized grip the pen was actually plastic there. So now I'm going with the F-701, which seems to be made fully out of steel, no plastic pieces. After my first few weeks using it, I've found it to be every bit of what I've come to expect out of zebra

Grip isn’t comfortable. They just don’t have that “flow” that you hope for in a fine pen. Won’t be buying again

- Balance: The center of mass on this pen is just above the finger grip makes for a pleasant feel while writing. - Mechanism: The feel of the mechanism used for retracting and extending the business-end of the pen is very tactile and fluid. The audible click is satisfying but not excessively loud. - Grip: The intricate pattern employed for the grip is very functional and I prefer it very much over the rubber grips of plastic pens which slowly deteriorate over time
