I have the Arctis 9 which with a coupon JAXSTYLE are $175 on Steelseries website. The 9 are great and identical to the 7 aside from the 9 having bluetooth I believe. Bluetooth is a pretty good feature since I can pair my phone and listen to audio from both my PC and phone at the same time, plus you can always just use them out in public.

If you prioritize a longer continuous battery life or are looking for a more neutral sound profile out of the box, go for the SteelSeries, but try the Razer if you want headphones that you can pair with your phone and Xbox simultaneously.

The second pair seemed ok at first, and was already updated when I got it. Mic was alright in party's but supposedly a little quiet according to my friends. But then I tried to play a game (Battlefield 4, 5 and 1, COD, and Cyberpunk to name a few main games I play) And of course I encountered a similar problem. Audio cut outs mainly, during certain sounds, important sounds, like explosions, bass and most every other loud sound

I never had an issue with the audio or microphone quality on the Arctis 9X. When I tested the 9, the noise-cancelling function worked well enough, blocking out the hum of my ancient air conditioner and desktop PC fans without degrading the sound too much. I do have some nitpicks with the design, though.

Doesn't hold a significant battery charge. Could do with a battery upgrade. Does not connect reliably to the Xbox series X each time I use it. When it does connect it works very well

There's no reason in pointing out the specifics, it is just so bad all around. -The battery does not last as long as it says it does (They say it lasts 20 hours, but it's closer to 13-17ish hours. It does vary, strangely enough). -The volume wheel is very limited in the range of audio output

I’ve been using this headset for about 6 months - it certainly gets the job done and the sound quality in general is pretty good, but I’ve had three consistent issues with it that make me hesitant to recommend it for the price.
