I want something that will have a good bass profile and overall sound quality, no muddy bass or piercing highs, and can hold a stable connection to iPhones/Apple products.

Hello anyone taking the time to read my review. (sorry, I tend to type too much) I'll give you some background. I work in a very loud and dusty environment so hearing protection in required. For the longest time I've been using LG Neckbands and they worked great for years

Great for Music and loud work environments, not so good for everything else.

I recently lost my airpods pro, and after first week of school with no music on the bus I've decided I need new ones.

I don't want another pair of airpods pro because of their size, and how easily I'd lose them again. But I also want something with the same qualities.

I prefer some really good noise cancelation, I don't wanna hear the outside world even if a 50 Ton truck is coming my way.

I would also want something with good bass, or as good as you can expect from a pair of headphones.

I would prefer wireless but if a wire is gonna massively up the quality of sound then it's ok.

Upper price limit would be $300.

Thanks in advance for any help, and sorry if I sounded a bit spoiled lmao.

I’ve been holding out an a set of earbuds with active noise cancellation for some time, and nothing on the market seemed to meet all my key needs, until iMore released this new version of their ANC wireless earbuds. With work-from-home in full effect and no end in sight, I wanted a set of earbuds that I could use for the multiple videoconference meetings I have each workday (over Microsoft Teams, Go-To-Meeting and Zoom). I also wanted effective ANC to help drown out the daily noise of the household. Lastly, I was looking for excellent sound quality for my personal musical tastes, which are equal parts classical music, 80’s/90’s pop, and R&B

First impressions when unboxing are excellent, as many other reviewers have noted. iMore really goes the extra mile here

 Well-balanced sound, clear vocals, punchy (though not particularly deep) bass, clear highs. I did immediately notice that these earbuds do not get very loud at max volume on my iPhone, whether ANC is active or not. I would have preferred a bit more headroom at the top end of the volume scale. ANC is very impressive when music is playing

 First, I had some difficulty pairing with my Samsung TV, and once I did pair, the earbuds were unlistenable as the audio drops were non-stop - every 10-15 seconds the audio would drop for a second or two then resume. So no using these to watch movies on the big screen for me. Then, I couldn’t pair again to my iPhone if the TV was on. Deleting the Bluetooth entry off the Samsung TV solved this issue

1more Comfobuds Pro vs Edifier NB2 Pro

 the active noise cancelation is amazing. they seem to work great overall, one issue is every time i turn them on they go to full volume so you need to turn them down before you play any audio or they blast your ears.  the quad driver earbuds by 1more that i have are freaking amazing, sounds like a set of high dollar speakers. The stylish ear buds have this a war beautiful tone that just makes me love them to death and they sound almost as good as the quad drivers but not quite as detailed but i had some issue with them not working well and sent them back

 like i said tho if your phone has a EQ and you know how to sue it you might be able to make them sound more acceptable  If i run theses in ACC mode (sound almost as good as LDAC mode) they get super good battery life, pretty much last all day, did some gaming sessions where i was on voice chat almost the entire day and they went from like 10am to 9pm and still had battery left, if i run them in LDAC they last for several hours but not all day. LDAC does sound better on my android phone but not a huge difference so i would go with the ACC audio codac if your on them for many hours at a time or LDAC if your just on them a few hours a day..

 Things change after I installed DFX driver. The sound was full and satisfying. Anyway, rather than invest in Xm3, I would advise you to look into 1MORE COMFObuds Pro, which I also own. It's cheaper and the sound is also amazing, on par with XM4 IMO

Hello, everyone! I already have a Sony WH 1000XM4, but I am thinking of buying the WF 1000XM4 too, for when I'm tired of using WH. However, WF 1000XM4 is still not available in my country, though I can order one from Japan, but it's priced at around $380. So, I was thinking if WF 1000XM3 is still worth it. I'm thinking of purchasing it for now and then upgrading to the WF 1000XM4 later when it's available in my country and its price has already dropped.

Selling points for me are the sound quality and noise cancellation. I've seen a lot of reviews saying that WF 1000XM4 is really superior to WF 1000XM3 when it comes to both sound quality and noise cancellation, but I'd still like to hear it from real-world users.

Is Sony WF 1000XM3 still worth it now that WF 1000XM4 is out?

  Cons: Earpieces are uncomfortable compared to all of the competitors. I've tried all of the included sizes of rubber inserts and they all hurt my ear canals. I think this is due to the fact that iMore uses an oval port shape inside the rubber insert instead of a round one and this shape is causing the pain. I can only leave these in my ears for 45 minutes before I have to take them out

 I've never had this issue with LG Tone headsets for example and I can wear those for 8+ hours at a time. Bass response is rather flat especially considering the treble boost that iMore decided to use. The treble boost accentuates the fact that there isn't enough bass. If you're using something like Spotify that has an adjustable EQ, this issue can be solved though

Looking for first pair, chosing between jbl tune 225 TWS ans razer hammerhead true wireless

 No difference. - Tested with a second, new order of these (1more) earphones, same issue.

  More details: All of the things I tried, all of which seeming to show that the 1more earphones are the issue: - Tested 1 other Bluetooth speaker and 2 other Bluetooth headsets, none of which had this problem. - Tested with 2 other bluetooth dongles. Didn't matter. All bluetooth dongle drivers were the latest updated versions

Pros: Noise cancellation levels, wind cancellation, sound quality, usbc to 3.5mm wire (which has a "3 pole" 3.5mm plug that only transmits stereo but not microphone). Wirecutter top pick

 Same cutoff issue after 5 minutes. - Tested disabling the bluetooth adaptor's power management ("Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power") which is recommended for bluetooth cutting out on google. No difference. - Tested with a second, new order of these (1more) earphones, same issue
