 however, even taking this into consideration, i'd rather sleep on the max lites cause they aren't bad to sleep on and the sealing is just so much better with the max lites. i wished i'd stuck w/ what i had and just bought the max lites again.

 These E-A-Rsoft plugs are somewhat small, but sized right for people with small to medium ear canals. I can't imagine someone's ear canals being so large that these would fall out ..

Effective, comfortable, great value

so, both 3M (yellow) and Hearos (green box *) claim to be NRR 33. I compared both of them, wearing them as I work from my office I have made the following findings:  Hearos (green box) have better noise reduction compared to 3M, by default one is closer or at NRR 33 (Hearos Green Box) and the other is 2nd best (3M). if I had to guess I would say 3M is more around NRR 30 just because I doubt I would be able to notice a 1 point NRR level in either direction but noticing a 3 point NRR swing is more noticeable.  * the reason I keep referencing Hearos “green box” is because Hearos the company stopped producing this type and started selling a look-alike that is marketed on old (Green box) reviews but in reality was made poorly and does not operate as marketed
