 A little piece of chicken on the bottom here and getting to the base. We use a sintered base on all of our snowboards, basically just going to hold wax better and maintain more speed. We will go from a red and a white base when you get this snowboard and the lettering will change for poppiness. Starting with the board, we use an ultralight core at Neversommer

 We use full wrap metal edges, I can talk about that after going with the sidewalls, the edges are wrapped all the way around the snowboard, they're not going to pop out anywhere, there's no areas where there's a weak spot so the full wrap is very beneficial for park because you're always kind of bashing your snowboard and using it as much as possible. We use a featherweight dampening system, it's light weight so that basically just means it's rubber dampening all around the snowboard, you can really see it in our white boards here and it's just going to help you guys with chatter and maintaining just speed and not feeling any like your snowboard loose underneath your feet, the dampening really helps with speed and just riding, overall riding experience. It's a centered stance for park so if you have your feet at the opposing screws it's going to be perfectly true twin and that's what we're looking for in park board. We use, like I said before, I'll say it again, centered base, centered bases are the best bases in snowboards and they're just going to maintain wax better and speed

This board comes in at 146, a 149, a 152 and 156, we have two mid-wides in this series, the 154 and the 157, mid-wide is going to be good for anybody with a size 10.5 foot or large binding, it's going to help give you a little bit less toe and heel drag, it will be perfect for that large foot, don't be afraid to get one of the mid-wides if you do have a smaller foot, it will get you really long in your turns, it will be a lot of fun

 This is a snowboard made here in the USA in Colorado at the Never Summer Factory. This one is new for 2019-2020. I really like this board. It's super high quality, really good price

 That along with our Barrio Grip Sidecut, five different radiuses, so when you're turning, you're constantly bouncing off of one of those radiuses, you won't feel, but it'll hold a really good edge, but not too much where it's going to grip the groomer, like be a groomer grip the board, you're going to be able to release it and pop back on it, you'll have a super fun time back, jumping left and right on turns, like jumping, you'll feel like a dolphin is what it's called, dolphin turns. Anyways, so yeah, with that Barrio Grip Sidecut, rubber dampening, P-Tek sidewall, when they put it in the press in the factory, all that molds together, so you're never going to have like an edge pull or a D-Lam, just it's got a really solid, durable mold, I guess you could call it, when they get it done in the factory, so another thing in our mission statement is quality, you're not going to get a better quality snowboard, we build our snowboards at Never Summer in the streets down in Denver, I used to be a snowboard coach, I wrote all my kids snowboards, I've written snowboards from every factory around the world, and after getting these boards tested a few years ago at Never Summer, we decided to make all our boards at Never Summer because I was like, these are the best snowboards in the world and I want to ride these, so super happy to have our academies, snowboards made at Never Summer, so quality right there, and then just to quickly add on before I continue to talk about this board, individuals, JB, the founder, president of Academy, runs the show along with myself and a few other people, reps and distributors and things like that help us out, but it's just us kind of running the show, which is individuals, when you get ahold of Academy, you get ahold of us, not a voicemail or something weird, anyways, yeah, it's us, quality, progression, individuals, like I said, top sheet, ultralight, wood cord, the lightest wood cord, but it won't break on you, and so it just gives you a pop, we take a lot of bells and whistles out of this board, we don't put a lot of crazy technology in it, it's just like when you see a picking table and you want to ollie onto it, go ollie onto that picking table, it's kind of the mentality of this board, the shape is twisted, it's twin, skateboard style, you can go backwards like you can go forwards, which is awesome, I like that when I'm trying to do switch stance tricks because I can kind of feel it and know what's going to happen, like I said earlier, the profile is flat, a flat profile is good for knowing what it's going to do, when you're a beginner snowboarder or an entry level snowboarder, you just kind of, you don't know anything about crazy profiles, you just know what your edge is and when you get on it, you know you're going to feel it and get used to it, things like that, or just dribbling, like when you want to go do a back lift, you can just pop off that solid clean edge, you know it's going to be a solid flat edge, so I really like a flat profile of that along with the Vario Grip Sidecut and all the technology that goes along the edge makes this board an amazing turning board, the sizes of this board, it are 146, 149, 152 and 156 in regular sizes, along with if you have a bigger foot, we have a 154 and a 157, same thing, like a 10 and higher foot, you're going to want to go up to that mid-wide, full round metal edges, along with a little more rubber dampening on the nose and tail for extra protection, like I said, you can be bonking the top out of this thing and it's going to hold up on you and that's kind of the deal with quality, so this board retails for $569 and when I say quality, I mean quality, this has a two year warranty that you're not going to use and a lot of boards out there you can buy you know and they come from overseas or wherever back in the US, I don't even know, but they're not going to give you the quality of this little dent, never somewhere has the most durable quality snowboards in the world, so when you buy this you can be confident that you're getting a quality product and that's what I'm all about, I'm too old, not old, aged to be in the industry and be doing something I don't believe in, I could be like a real estate agent or something and make way more money and be living on islands, but I want to do this because I believe in it, so yeah, Academy Snowboards, this is the Propaganda 2023, it's in your local shop now, so go get it and if they don't have it, tell them to get it because you're going to want it if you're into jibbing and easy riding and having fun and looking cool on a wetline.
