1. light weight - doesn't cause discomfort to my ears (I cannot wear earbuds or on the ear headphones as they cause pain to my ears after about 5 minutes. I can wear these for hours without pain)

 I had never tried bone conductivity headphones before, but I figured since I wasn't having any good luck with traditional headphones, I'd give these a try.  When they arrived, I could tell they were pretty good quality as far as their build goes, but the instructions are lacking. There are two modes on these, one for when you're wearing earplugs, and one for when you're not. Which one is which? Good luck telling

It just says "EQ changed" but doesn't tell you what it has changed to. Not that it matters since I can't really tell much of a difference between the two, they both just sound meh

 So why the change to four stars? After my few months of owning these, the power button stopped working. When I reached out to the company for an RMA exchange, I thought they were going to go the usual route of making me send mine in first, and then when they receive it, they'd send me a replacement pair, meaning I'd go all that time without the headphones I rely on to get me through my run. But they didn't do that. They just sent a new pair and I was only without headphones for a few days

You can tell either the low end or the high end is being lost. I just wish they were louder.  Maybe some of these issues are fixed with their more expensive set

Nice Quality, But Lacking Where It Matters Most - SOUND QUALITY ***UPDATE***

The open ear is nice for running on the street, so I can hear cars coming. Sound quality is surprisingly good, but I've never used airpods so I can't offer a comparison.

My apologies if this is the incorrect forum. I'm looking to buy some quality ear pods for running and cycling. Up until now, I've still been using my old school Ipod with wired bose earpods. I love it but the wires are becoming a pain. I hate to start using my phone to exercise with because running has always been my escape but the technology is just too good to not use it.

I learned quickly that 15 dollar bluetooth ear pods are garbage for both podcasts and music. I want to buy the Airpod Pros but before I do, wanted to hear if anyone suggests anything better like Bose or Sony, etc. As always, reviews are all over the place and I can't tell if the ones being sold on Marketplace are fakes or not. ( I realize the ones for $35 are fakes)

If it matters I mostly listen to metal and hard rock when exercising. Cheers!

<p>Update: I went with the latest Gen Airpod Pros. I probably paid too much for them but I wanted them before the weekend. The transparency mode feature is incredible. I&#39;m not sure if all of the latest earbuds have that option but its worth the money alone. The sound quality of them are everything I wanted them to be. Thanks for the help, all</p>

Best Wireless Earpods?

I'm going to compare these a lot to Phaiser BHS-530, because I used them with great satisfaction for over three years, until they were recently discontinued and I was forced to find a new wraparound-style model. The Phaisers were usually $30 and lasted about a year. These Aftershokz cost about four times that and sound slightly worse. I've had this pair for about 2 months now, but we'll see how long they last

 I'm developing a pavlovian response to pausing my music because the beep is so loud that it hurts my eardrums. How on earth did they not notice this when they designed them. -as mentioned earlier, for the price I expected better sound quality. These are the most expensive headphones I've ever bought and they don't sound better than what I was using before

At first while cycling I tended to be careful.  But after a few rides without them ever feeling like they were ever even coming loose I now have gone for it and bike hard with them.   I just got back from a trail ride with them and zero problem.   Airpods for some reason always feel like they are about to fall out.

Got them with the 5a 5g with the $40 off. They sound pretty good for a pair of $60 earbuds, the microphone is decent for phone calls while on a run, and Google assistant always works when needed.  The only issue i have is the right earbud getting loose after an extended run but that could just be a personal issue with my ear.

They have fallen out of my ears on occasion, and I just wouldn’t trust them. But, I have a better alternative for that - Aftershokz Aeropex bone conducting headphones. They fit snugly around my head and allow me to still hear traffic and people around me to keep me safe out on the road.

I have the original pixel buds as well as the series A. I find that the series A are better for the gym since they have a better overall connection. I use the originals for phone calls

I have both regular and a series. I think the A-series is superior. For some reason they stick in my ears better. The only difference maybe from the weight of them being lighter? not sure.

I have the previous buds (full wireless) and they are OK at staying in. They are not great tho. Honestly AirPods Pro are better in all ways (yes I use them on my Pixel 5 without a problem)

Frankly they fit pretty poorly, so running with them would be bad.  But if they fit for you, maybe they would work. 

I returned mine and got PowerBeats Pro, and they're much better.

I use the Pixel Buds 2 (not A series) for running and they're perfect. I frequently use the volume gesture control on my Buds so that omission on the A series would be my only concern.

Are pixel buds A-series good for running?

 I am not an audiophile by any means but I would still want better.  If they could survive a dunk in the pool then at least I could wear them around that but the other reviews and company lit doesn't make this seem viable.  I can't sleep with them on for pretty much the same reason I don't like them bumping a headrest. That means for me they are only ok for walk and even for that not as good for me as my current headphones

Not for me but if you can't wear buds....
