The Amazon Basics Beginner Full-Size 6-String Acoustic was a surprise winner. At this price, beginners won't be disappointed with the budget guitar they will receive. It's just as good-looking as our favorite choice, the Fender FA-125, and with its large dreadnought body, it's capable of a big, booming sound. The intonation, though not impeccable, was absolutely passable. It also seems to have a pretty solid structure to it. Picks like to disappear, but you won't have to worry about purchasing extra since this kit includes six good-quality ones. The included e-tuner was our favorite tuner we encountered, with a nice, bright display and a flexible head.
Although this guitar has a decent sound, when compared to the other full-sized guitars we tested, the tone was less balanced, more bass-heavy, and thinner and more metallic. This guitar did fall out of tune a little easier and had some accuracy issues with tuning, but once the strings were worn in and stretched, these problems seemed to resolve. Of all the full-sized guitars we tested, the strings on this one felt the cheapest; they were thicker and hard to depress, which can be discouraging to beginners. They sound fine, but for a better sense when playing, we recommend re-stringing this guitar with light-gauge strings of a higher quality.

 were wonderful additions. The only things that could've made it more complete/better would've been re-stringing tools and a kapo. Oh and if they're going to include strings, they really should've included instructions for re-stringing it as well, but alas, you'll have to find a YouTube video for that. The quality and craftsmanship of the guitar itself is very nice, especially for the money!! I was super impressed with the feel and the sound!  What I was not so impressed with was the fact that the guitar wouldn't hold its tuning for very long

 The guitar was then not sent through the proper services and instead through Amazon's foul up it was sent ups! And not even an upgraded shipping with them simply ground. After 6 days later and then opening it up seeing it's not the one I ordered I nearly returned it. But after the waiting I decided to give it a try first and as I previously stated it actually is awesome. And by the way pick up a pick guard first as this one doesn't have one

I've been a guitarist since my teenage years, with classical music being my real passion. Since the mid 1990s, I've been playing a 1979 Takamine classical guitar--made of cedar, rosewood and mahogany--which produces the rich sound you'd expect from an instrument that's now valued in the $500-$1,000 range. I ordered this starter kit with low expectations regarding the instrument's quality and as a possible gift for my young nephew, who has shown an interest in learning to play. I'm happy to report that the instrument exceeded my expectations

Once you pop the battery into the electric tuner, it only takes a few minutes to tighten and tune them, and you're ready to go

  The first thing you should do when you get the guitar is tune it, which given the included tuner is very easy then sit down and watch a few youtube videos or perhaps get some lessons from a guitar professional and you are on your way.  The guitar itself is quite light and feels a little on the plasticky side when compared to a good quality Gibson however it is very much in the vein on an Epiphone which is a very respectable make for the lower end market. Basic acoustic guitar with no amplification

 Comes in a nice carry bag, has extra accessories like picks and strings. Cost under $150, but for about the same price you can get a name brand guitar without all the added accessories; so it's a good price for the little extras that you get. AmazonBasics are a hit or miss with a lot of their products, some are good, some are equivalent to the dollar store stuff.
