Living up to the high bar of quality established by their predecessor, the Amazon Echo Buds &#40;2nd Gen&#41; are an excellent product at an even more excellent value. They are extremely lightweight and portable, with a protective charging case that is small and convenient. These buds offer good sound quality with impressive bass that is fun to blast as you complete a workout. 
Speaking of workouts, the Echo Buds &#40;2nd Gen&#41; offer a secure fit and fair-to-good athletic performance overall. One of our few criticisms of these buds is that they can get uncomfortable after periods of long wear. Also, they require you to set up Amazon Alexa to use, which can be annoying for some, especially those who are not too keen on the idea of voice assistants. Overall, these buds provide a positive and enjoyable user experience. For around half the price of most of the competition, these buds represent just about the greatest value you will find for true wireless Bluetooth earbuds. 

The Amazon Echo Buds &#40;2nd Gen&#41; offer an array of features found on more expensive models, including a charging case, Amazon Alexa support, and a helpful "find my buds" feature, plus audio quality that had us double-checking the price before believing it. These are a great choice for folks looking to get pumped up for their workouts with bass-heavy tracks, as the Echo Buds pump out a pretty impressive low-end for a pair of earbuds. They easily transition from working out to plain old work thanks to their active noise cancelation, which can be operated in pass-through mode or disabled completely. 
Though somewhat subjective, we found the earbud's touch-sensitive controls a bit cumbersome, as we generally prefer buttons with a more tactile response. They also require you to set up Alexa to operate, which some folks wary of the "always listening" digital assistant won't appreciate. They have a water resistance rating of IPX4, so they resist sweat but should not be submerged. Still, these buds are a great choice for folks looking to save a little money while still enjoying above-average sound quality.

Though the original iteration of the Amazon Echo Buds offered Active Noise Reduction, the updated 2nd gen version now boasts full-blown Active Noise Cancellation. Coupled with the buds' tight seal, they block noise better than the vast majority of earbuds we've tested. Though not comparable with the noise isolation provided by over-ear headphones, we still found in our testing that we could consistently enjoy music in noisy environments without cranking the volume to ear-splitting levels &mdash; an issue we've run into with many earbuds. Back that up with impressive bass quality, an automated fit test to help you select the right earpieces and a reasonably low price tag, and you've got a winner.

 So, is it a gimmick? and is the performance good enough to justify an 11 000 rupee price tag? Stick around to find out this is Riti you're watching digit and in this video. We'll be telling you about four reasons to buy the Amazon Echo, but second Gen and two reasons not to. [music] Reason to buy Number One: Hands-free Alexa. Now, this is an Amazon device, so obviously it comes with Alexa integration right out of the box

 With boosted low bass and boosted highs, these buds work well with genres such as classical and blues, but they seem mediocre when listening to pop, rap, or Edm tracks. Options such as the Oppo and Cox and the Oneplus Buzz Pro in the same price range definitely offer better Anc and sound quality. And now that neatly brings us back to the question we had when we started: Are these earbuds worth their asking price? While these earbuds do impress in terms of features and fit, they fall behind in key areas such as battery life, anc performance, and sound quality. These misses are enough to ask most users to look elsewhere at this price point

 This results in performance that is extremely impressive, both indoors and outdoors. Voices sound natural and clear. Ambient sounds are drowned out quite successfully, but if you're in a really noisy environment, there may be some leakage. Wind noise is also quite muted during calls, which is impressive, but you should judge that out for yourself

Amazon Echo Buds 2 Review - Is it worth your money?

 Just say, “Alexa, pause” to the Echo device playing music in your home, connect Echo Auto to your phone once in your car, and say, “Alexa, resume music.”.

Simply put in your Echo Buds, connect them to your phone and say, “Alexa, move my music here.” You can also take your music with you on your next drive. Just say, “Alexa, pause” to the Echo device playing music in your home, connect Echo Auto to your phone once in your car, and say, “Alexa, resume music.”

  The "equalizer" on the Alexa app is comprised of three tone controls, treble, mids and bass. It is terrible. Don't use it. I keep them set in the middle (neutral)

 ANC is terrible compared to my Bose Q35 headphones. I can't comment how the Echo 2 compares to other active noise control ear buds but it seems that many people feel that the ANC on the Echo 2s are not well implemented.  Battery life can be better. If you plan to have these in your ears all day be prepared to charge up every once in a while

 I could hear a bass fiddle on the Echo 2 on one jazz tune but not on the Jabra.  For my purposes, occasional music, talking on the phone, listening to sports while out for a walk they are fine. I don't think the left bud would stay in my ear if I was to use them once I get back to a gym. I was hoping I could use these on plane flights since they are so small and I'll give them a try but I don't think they will be nearly as good as the over ear Bose Q35s 

 Don't use it. I keep them set in the middle (neutral). Instead, download an equalizer app and use that. It makes a HUGE difference in sound quality, from fairly awful to really excellent and I have high-end audiophile corded earphones to which to compare

These can be made to sound great

 The AirPods Pro say, well, you'll get 4.5 hours of listening time with active noise cancellation turned on. And the Echo Buds 2 say five hours of listening time with active noise cancellation turned on and always on Amazon Voice Assistant. But real world testing is a little bit different

I actually found that the AirPods Pro could push me closer to five hours of listening time with active noise cancellation turned on at about a 50% volume, whereas the Echo Buds 2 actually got me closer to that 4.5 hours of listening time with the same parameters

 I dislike that it will automatically launch the Alexa app when you connect the ear buds. That app is a pretty big battery killer that is unnecessary to listen to music. I should not have to launch this app because I want to watch YouTube. Utterly ridiculous

 Yes, it does improve the noise level. No, it is not very good or all that noticeable unless you are paying attention to try and detect it. You do not get that cool "walked into a different room and closed the door" feeling from higher end ANC devices. It will not perform well on a bus, train, or plane like other options will

  Overall, I am giving these a 3 star but that is coming mostly from battery life. Without that, they would be a solid 2 stars. They have flawed design and fit, unimpressive sounds, very buggy firmware, unrealistic software demands that do not match their function, and disappointing ANC. I am probably keeping these as my back up travel pair to use when my Airpods are recharging

 I should not have to launch this app because I want to watch YouTube. Utterly ridiculous.  Overall, I am giving these a 3 star but that is coming mostly from battery life. Without that, they would be a solid 2 stars

Pretty good for the money bot not great

 Now, this next thing I'm going to talk about is something that didn't work yet. As I said before, Amazon's assistant in the Echo Buds will be really great for anyone that actively uses it. Now, I'm not quite that user, but I do appreciate that it can do all of the routines and the smart home control. But what I do wish was already live is the Alexa VIP filter, something that's coming a little bit later, which has the Echo device ping you when notifications from user defined applications come through

 I get Amazon's mindset here. It's like, if you're already scrolling through the marketplace anyway, well, you might as well use one of our products. So let's make sure we can make that make sense. I mean, good sound, decent battery life, the potential for Alexa's help and active noise cancellation don't all come cheap

 We always have to start from the outside going in, so let's talk about this case here. While the matte white edition that I was given from my review might not stand out a whole lot, at least the case is small and slim enough to easily throw in a bag or a pocket. You have the usual USB-C port here on the back right next to the button that triggers the pairing mode when both earbuds are sat in place. Now this is the typical method for connecting the buds to any device, even a computer, but of course you get the most out of the Echo Buds by using the Amazon Alexa application on your smartphone

 Amazon's in-house truly wireless earbuds brings this version of the Echo to the second generation. And I have to say, they're actually pretty good, even before you ask them to whisper in your ear. My nieces loved my 90s Sony stack so much that I pieced together a little system for them. Sony STR DH810 receiver paired with DVP NC875V Cd/DVD player run through Proficient NFM5 bookshelf speakers. $25 all in. Thought I'd share this super budget set.

  So, what’s good about these? You get Alexa anywhere you are. They stay in your ears, and they are not too uncomfortable. I’d say they are comfortable, but I definitely get a sense that they create a vacuum in my ear canal (to create a physical noise isolation), and that makes me very aware of them; not uncomfortable, but not 100% pleasant. Let’s say that I don’t forget I have them on

 For comparison, when I wear the Apple AirPods, watching a movie on my iPad feels like I’m in an expensive theater. Even just listening to music is an experience with the AirPods. With the Echo Buds, however, you hear the sounds; that’s it. What’s worse, is that sometimes, the sound has some issues due to connectivity (I connect them to my iPhone 13 Pro Max)

They stay in your ears.
