Sounds about right, I know one single person who is actually wanting to buy a galaxy tab and two with surfaces. The only people I know who buy fire tablets buy them for children. Everyone else has some variation of iPad.

I have used Samsung Galaxy phones for years because I like to add storage space, but when my parent needed a new mobile I got him an iphone.  The iphone was easier for him to use.  We all have ipads.  The ease of file transfers with airdrop can't be beat, pics/vids of the grandkids and the like.
I can film something on the ipad pro, edit it in Lumafusion, export it quickly, and airdrop to someone else.  My surface, S10, and Fire tablet can"t do that...but my several year old, refurbed, ipad pro does it all quickly and easily.  The ipad/iphone choice is easy if others in your family have an iphone or ipad.

Apple needs to replace my battery in my iPad. I sent it in before my warranty expired and they did Jack shit and sent it back saying they couldn’t replicate the issue. Like no shit, just watch the battery drop doing absolutely nothing. The battery was so bad even the Geek Squad agent could see his quickly it was draining. It’s an iPad mini 5. Anywho, that’s probably why they’re selling more. Everyone’s iPads are crapping out.

Of you want a tablet that lasts and runs everything like a charm: ipad. 
If you want a tablet that maybe let’s you do some shit that it’s not very safe but you can do it anyway; OR if doesn’t bother you that maube some apps doesn’t work so well: android.

Apple Shipped More Tablets Than Samsung and Amazon Did Combined Last Quarter

I snagged a Fire tablet on Prime day for $45 and turned it into my home control center.

 So she bought me an Amazon Fire HD 8 2021 for Christmas in the hopes that it would fix the issues I was having with my 2017 model. That brings me to the real point of this review. Having used this tablet for almost a year now I can say again that this is an excellent tablet for the price. I only have a few complaints that I was hoping Amazon had fixed since the 2017 model

 3) The battery life is about the same as my 2017 which was also very disappointing. On a full charge I can usually get about 4-5 hours of solid use before it's almost dead (that was brand new), about 8-10 hours of intermittent use, and if left on but inactive (on standby) you can get up to 3 days on a full charge before it dies. However I will also say that those numbers have not decreased much, if any, over the past 8 months of use. So at least the battery life seems to be fairly consistent

 So it definitely served its purpose. Last year my wife was tired of me always complaining about how slow it had gotten and how limited it was on being able to keep up with newer apps. So she bought me an Amazon Fire HD 8 2021 for Christmas in the hopes that it would fix the issues I was having with my 2017 model. That brings me to the real point of this review

Overall an excellent product for the price!

I am looking for a replacement for my Nexus 7 2013. Something with which i can also play. 

I've read before but really haven't found much. I don't want to spend more than 150 bucks. It also goes a used one. 

Lenovo Tab M8 (8705F) with 3gb or a Huawei M5 8.4 or ? I read that the Lenovo is very slow because of the old processor. It must be Andriod and it must be possible to root. 

Ideas?

  ** A BRICK: Heavier than expected. If you're used to Samsung or Apple, this tablet will feel like a brick and also a bit thick. Expected it to be slimmer and lighter in design.  ** SCREEN QUALITY: Picture quality not as sharp or good for movies as my Samsung

I would go with the Amazon HD 8. They have a new 8 Plus that is even better. I also sometimes see the HD10 right at $100 and occasionally even less at $80. You can easily install google play store and apps if you wish.
