Stressing over getting enough amp to jam with a drummer

You aren't trying to fill the room and project out to the crowd, it's just practice. My old crappy Acoustic BA-115 (100 watt combo, 1x15, class AB power so a touch more head room than a class D like your Ampeg) never even got slightly pushed playing with a slightly heavy handed drummer for practice with a punk band, that Ampeg will be be more than fine.

Ampeg BA-115 or Fender Rumble Studio 40?

I've heard the BA115 and the Rumble 12 combo live, and the Ampeg sounds so much fatter and sits so much better in the mix. I have the BA210 myself. The Scrambler doesn't sound great on its own, but try it in a mix.

I just purchased an old Ampeg BA-115 because I really like the tone better than my Rumble. You are not getting a whole lot of bass with your 25. Assuming the RB-115 sounds as good or better than the BA115, this amp should rock your world. I think you would really be happy with it.
