I'm Margaret Marie and welcome to my channel What I have for you in this video is a review And what I'm reviewing is the Anastasia Beverly Hills eye shadow primer This is advertised as a mini eye primer They do have full size primers, which are 15 milliliters and those are $15 and 70 cents Which isn't too bad. I was looking in Ulta and I looked in Sephora and I could not find the full-size primer All they have were the mini size And this has 0.24 ounces in it

 It also has mineral sunscreens in it, which is really good And those are the titanium dioxide and the iron oxide Okay So now it's time to give this eyeshadow primer a try and let's see if it really is the perfect base for eyeshadow Okay, i'm going to open this up Yes, and i'm going to apply a little bit on this brush Okay, here it is on the brush and it looks white and the consistency looks like it's pretty thick Okay, let's start applying it Oh, it is really really thick I probably used a little bit too much. I'm going to put this on the lid to start with Feels like it's gliding good my brush is going over the top really well It's not skipping or anything like that Okay, we're getting off to a good start it's taking the eyeshadow really well And it just seems to glide right over it, which is nice Okay. Next thing is some transition and i'm going to put that Right above where my natural crease is I'm just going to see what color payoff I get out of it and it looks like i'm getting a really nice color payoff All right. Now this side And this side same thing good color payoff

 And so i'll come back probably around six or seven or somewhere around there And let's just see how well it performed All right, I am back and as you can see it's been a little over seven hours My eyeliner stayed in place and everything just looks pretty much the same as it did As when I put it on over seven hours ago So I am super super impressed with this eyeshadow primer as far as repurchasing this I definitely would except this time i'd like to get the full size Overall as you can see the proof is right there. It still looks good. My eyeshadow still looks vibrant It stayed on all through the day. It didn't smudge or get patchy It managed to keep my wrinkles at bay and my hooded eyelid didn't show up too much So for mature eyes, this really is a good primer and I definitely recommend it All right, so that's the end of this video I want to thank you all for watching

Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Eye Primer Review/Demo!  Does It Really Create The Perfect Canvas??

Can anyone tell me how to fill in my eyebrows without looking so patchy and nasty? My eyebrow hairs are so thick and not soft at all. Tips are greatly appreciated!

It's fine

 And it's funny because there was another primer Urban Decay Primer Potion back back back in the day. I feel like the original formula it was like it would leave the oldie white look on black skin and then I feel like now they tweaked it and it doesn't do that anymore. But this like is like it looks like I put like white powder all over my hand. So now I'm having to put eyeshadow like I said to make sure that none of this is showing

 But yeah definitely I feel like you should try the primer out and here is why I'm saying that. Okay so as a brown person, woman of color, when I put on eye primer, best case scenario is that it's clear and still will make the eyeshadow opaque. Worst case scenario is that it has a whitish, it's white on my face and then I have to put eyeshadow to cover every little last bit of where it's at and then the eyeshadow doesn't even last. So this primer is somewhere in the middle

 Like even when I'm trying to wash that glitter is not going anywhere I'm just like oh this primer is locked and loaded but this is an issue. It definitely has a white cast. A Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Primer

I noticed it settling into fine lines, and when I looked again, it completely fixed and refreshed itself. It's also a self-setting formula, meaning you don't have to layer a setting powder over it for it to last! I'm going to continue wearing and loving this!.

 So let me open this up and we can see what it looks like. I'm going to be doing like one eye with my MAC Paint Pot and one eye with my Anastasia primer, just so we can kind of see how shadows apply on top of this. So here's what the little tube looks like. It looks really small, but I feel like there's a lot of product in here

 I think this formula is so good. It dries down matte. It's so comfortable. It lasts for such a long time, but it doesn't do weird things on your lips, and you can actually reapply this on top of your lipstick after you've eaten and stuff

 I did the painterly versus soft ochre, and I found that soft ochre just performed a lot better when using colorful shadows, so that is why I've been using this one. I don't love that it has a yellow undertone, which is why I keep trying new eyeshadow primers, because I want to find something that doesn't kind of mess up some of the shadows that I use. Sometimes if I go in with blues, the blues kind of turn into a little bit of a muddy gray when I put it on top of this primer, and I don't like that about it. I'm not sure if it's showing up at all, but that is just the experience that I'm having looking up close and actually analyzing what is happening on my eyes

 I don't have to take this completely off and reapply, which I feel like I need to do with most liquid lipsticks, but this formula is so, so nice. I have mine in the shade Enchanted. I want to get more of these. I'm probably going to order some because this formula is so good

 So if you're searching for something that is good and that can be sold at Sephora, you can definitely go buy it online. Of course, there's a few things that you should know about this product is, yes, it is full coverage. Yes, it really makes the pigment grab onto your skin, but it does dry pretty quickly. So if it creases, it is very hard to blend back

 So we will pair them both just because there's a lot of colors in this one. And I'm excited to see if it can beat also the pillowy base, so that's going to be good. So let me try this. I'm going to open it up and that's what the packaging looks like

 So I will start with the darkest green and I will create kind of a liner on my eyes, which is what I like to do usually. And taking a packer brush. Shade is called Daddy, putting it over the crease, creating a shape that we will like. It's just the starting phase, which after that, we will refine the shape by blending the shadows together
