I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

I'm a beginner in makeup and have no clue which products and which brand to get

 Will see how it lasts throughout the day. Maybe less it more for people over 60 yo. Having nearly died from skin cancer I can attest to the need for sunblock over everything else. DRMTLGY Anti-Aging Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 46 also on Amazon is a nice one

 To it's credit it was hard to remove so its staying power must be good.  I was hoping to find something to blur or fill in or cause people to hallucinate that I don't have wrinkles above or below my eyes. Sad to say this was not the case. I think my eyes look better with just moisturizer and concealer versus these primers

I admit this is my first eye primer

 I am going to be tuning in later. After the 8 hours. Right now it's currently like 8. So I'm going to be tuning in after those hours

 And I'm just going to pat it down. Okay, so you shouldn't use a lot. Just a little teeny dot and then just pat it down. And then it shouldn't need a lot because that's how you know it's a good primer

 I'm going to start removing my makeup. But I just want to come on and say that my makeup looks as good as it did in the morning. I feel like shadows didn't patch at all. They did not crease either

Milani Eyeshadow Primer(All Day Test-Wear)

I’ve been having this issue with my eyelids for the last year or so that my eyeshadow creases and fades quickly and my eyeliner pretty much smudges despite what I use. I have really tried about everything at this point. I have been wearing makeup for years so I know it’s not the technique I am using it’s just that my eyelids have become very oily and I can’t find a way around it. I always prime my eyes with UD primer potion or nars primer, even tried drier concealers like shape tape or mac paint pot, you name it and nothing helps. My eyeshadow creases horribly within a couple of hours and I use to be able to wear it for 10+ hours and it would be pretty much perfect. My eyes aren’t hooded either so it baffles me how crazy the oil breaks down my makeup on my eyelids. The rest of my skin is pretty much combo/ dry except for my oily af eyelids. Eyeliner is also a huge problem, I can’t wear any liner on my lids or it will smudge, especially a winged liner. I always set my under eyes with powder and I also always set my eyeliners with black shadow or setting powder. I use waterproof and even trying using waterproof gel liners mixed with inglot dura line and it just smudges horribly on the other corner of my eye. Does anyone have this happen to them and have found ways to remedy this problem? Is there even skin care for oily eyes lol

Can’t keep any eyeliner on because of oily eyelids

Does the job

I love love love the Urban Decay and Milani Eyeshadow primers persobally, as a brown lass going for bright colors. And if they work on me they work on anyone!. Also wetting your brush with water or setting spray just a little to pack the color helps make it more opaque (but be sure to set it to prevent falloff:).

It’s ok. It’s not great. I’m a Urban decay Sinful person and looking for cheaper alternative.

The way my eyes are makes it difficult to stop creasing. I have very fine lines around my under eyes and on my eyelids (think Bella Fiori, hooded but not really hooded). I've struggled with this my whole life and now that I wear less makeup, I'm finding it hard to get that "no makeup makeup" without caking on powder on my eyelids and under eyes to stop creasing form happening. I also really like the natural pigmentation of my eyelids so I try not to cover them up too much, but without concealer up there the creasing is much worse. 

I don't have particularly oily skin or eyelids/under eyes, in fact I find my eye area to be quite dry in the winter months. I do use eye cream and that seems to help the overall issue, but not enough that I feel comfortable without touching or tapping my eye area throughout the day (which then removes some concealer I am wearing). 

Any tips and/or product recommendations are welcome! :)

What are your guys' best tips for eyelid/under eye creasing?

I needed something to help my eyeshadow last throughout the day. This went on smoothly and it worked better than I expected. The only downside is that it contains talc. I should’ve read the ingredients before I purchased it

I am hoping for some recommendations for a good eyeshadow primer for oily lids. I have dry skin everywhere else…except my eyelids. I have tried these guys:

-milk makeup hydro grip eyeshadow and concealer primer - made my eyelids greasier
-fenty primer
-smash box photo finish intensity 24 hour primer
-too faced shadow insurance 
-ABH primer (the best, but the color it has is quite stark)
-UD eyeshadow primer 

My favorites were the nyx lid primer (from 5-6 years ago, now discontinued) and ABH’s old lid primer (in a clear gloss tube, also discontinued), but obviously, no longer available. 

My typical makeup is simple, a cream eyeshadow (I’m loving the caviar sticks from Laura mercier right now), brows and mascara. For context, if I do wear anything on my face, I’ll wear NARS creamy concealer in vanilla all over and powder with Charlotte tilbury’s powder in 1- fair. 

Any advice or wisdom is beyond appreciated!
