  In summary, if what is most important to you is that your makeup stay in place for many hours after you apply it and you're expert enough to not have to make many adjustments to your look, the Too Faced Shadow Insurance is probably your best bet. If, like me, you prefer a creamier, easier to use product that is more forgiving of making adjustments, I'd recommend the Nyx Eye Shadow Base. If I would buy either product again, it would be the Nyx Eye Shadow Base.  Note: I have amended my rating from 2 to 3 stars as I realized that it was unfair and misleading to give the product 2 stars; it's not that the product is bad (obviously not, as many people rave about it), but it just isn't my preference

The media could not be loaded. In the accompanying video, I put Nyx's Eye Shadow Base and the Too Faced Shadow Insurance to a head-to-head test, using one product on each eye. I much preferred the creamy texture of the Nyx product to the thin, liquid texture of the Shadow Insurance. I also much preferred the Nyx pot to the Shadow Insurance tube

  I didn't find a huge difference in the staying power of these products, but I think the Shadow Insurance had the edge.  In terms of price comparison, the Nyx Eye Shadow Base is nearly half the cost of Too Faced's Shadow Insurance, though the amount of product you get is not different enough to warrant the cost, in my opinion (the Nyx product is .21 ounces and the Too Faced product is .35 ounces)

Too unforgiving of corrections and too liquidy for my preference, though it is certainly long-lasting.

I have naturally long lashes and looking for something that will separate them and make them look “fluffy”. I’m currently using hourglass extreme lash and it’s lovely on but in the hotter weather or after a long while do wear it melts and transfers under my eyes. For the price just isn’t worth it.

Recommendation for a very Matte Bronzer ?

I've been using this product for a couple of years now and this is my first time buying it with the wand applicator; but something seems different. The consistency doesn't seem as thick anymore like the squeeze tube and it doesn't last very long for me anymore. I have oily lids and I don't think this last for me anymore.

Primer under eyes (then concealer) helps (really keeps eyeliner in place too) and switching to better than sex mascara by Too Faced resolved this for me. LOVE it!!

Does anyone have mascara recommendations? By the end of the day my mascara always looks like this. I did not cry.

Holy grail product. I can nap in my makeup and it won't budge, BUT they need to put the packing back the way it was! Two weeks after buying it in the current package and I'm using needle nose pliers to pull the top out because it seems empty…only to find a TON of product! The squeeze tube was better. Put it back!

Please fix it!!
