I've been an Anolon customer for over 30 years and HAD been very happy with the Advanced line and recommended it to many friend over the years; an excellent product.  Because our products conduct heat extremely well at lower temperatures, high heat is not needed. WHAAA??? So what they're saying is you can't sear with any Anolon product at all!! Or you shouldn't sear at all? So why not one star instead of 3? Anonlon - NO LONGER A QUALITY PRODUCT

5” pan, insufficient for some cooking for two people. The nonstick surface seems to work well, and using the pan at medium high at the highest temperature I’ve not experienced any warping. If I do, or the nonstick coating wears off prematurely (I only use wooden and nonmetallic spatulas, etc.) I’ll add to this review

I purchased this 8.5” pan to replace an AllClad pan of the same size that had degraded the nonstick surface after over a decade of hard use. The price seemed more than fair, and I had high expectations from my existing Analon pots, which were sturdily built and had lasted many years. This pan was a disappointment because the metal thickness is just over half of my previous Analon cookware, abd the extreme flare of the pan means I have a true 6” cooking surface in a nominally 8

 It's also the second one that we tried. I have a glass top stove and this pan does not sit flat anymore. My husband says it is probably because the bottom is too thin. We no longer recommend this pan

 It is too narrow as opposed to the traditional wider handle. When cleaning, the handle becomes slippery and is difficult to maneuver and when cooking with oil or items that produce fat, splatters get on the handle, the same result applies. I bought my existing set of Anolon Advanced in 2007 and it has served me well. The 10" frying pan was starting to get sticky so I bought this set (the set was the same price as just one pan). I could not believe how much heft has been removed from this product in 13 years! The current version of the 10" frying pan feels like something that you'd buy at a dollar store. The weight of the pan has been reduced by almost one pound (see images)

Feels cheaply made compared to the original

 Unfortunately, as it turns out, the ones in the twin pack are much thinner and lighter weight than the original one. If you look closely, you can see that the shipping weight for the 10-inch is 3 pounds and for the 12-inch it's 6 pounds. The shipping weight for the twin pack is only 6 pounds total so if you want the better ones, better buy them separately.

Worked well for 2 years (with approx 1-2 uses per week) then eggs began to stick really bad. Per the directions, I never used cooking spray, never heated it above a medium setting, always used a plastic spatula, and always hand washed the pan. The pan is said to have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. I called Anolon customer service and they want me to ship the pan to them at my expense for them to evaluate it and see if a manufacturer's defect caused the non-stick to quit working

This is the third time I have purchased this pan. I keep buying it because it cooks OK and I really like the padded comfortable handle. However, it only lasts a few years before the anodizing starts coming off and the pan becomes unusable because it will scratch a glass-top range. It is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for
