For such an expensive and impressive monitor otherwise, it'd sadly not 4K resolution, but that's not surprising because none exist yet, and probably never will once OLED mass production starts. # Just a few last remarks;. *Some people*, who has used 109-163 PPI monitors for years, might be annoyed by the "normal" PPI of 93, to them it's not their normal. *Some people*, might find the G-Sync annoying, since it's not an actual module capable of 1-240Hz.

I'm not playing e-sports titles at all (used to before) but I am very sensitive to response times and blur etc, which I found the AG271QG to be a very good compromise with its GSYNC module etc. Is there any other monitor I'm missing and what would be the "overall best"? I've spent a few days searching and it's driving me insane, mainly the lack of coverage online for some of these. I don't really *NEED* to go for 240hz necessarily, I'm looking for the best **overall**, but having great response times and perceptive motion blur is a must...

I played on a Toshiba 55" sv685 60hz (local dimming, high end tv in 2010) tv for 7 years, then i switched to an Aoc Ag271qg (high end ips gsync 165hz monitor). Tv is way much better in picture quality, an high end tv will always beat an high end monitor in this field. The drawbacks are response times, input lag and refresh rate. Gaming on my Aoc monitor is way more fluid and responsive than my Toshiba tv, but i miss the Toshiba picture quality.

But for high-end games and shooters and being an Asus fanboy I would prefer the 35". I got the same 35" pannel in my AOC Agon and I'm loving it everyday. In the middle is the LG 38" 1600 pixel line 180hz gsync Ultimate screen that some other manufacturers have used aswell that you may want to check out.

I cannot stress enough how badly that monitor's input management sucks. It does not actually detect which device is on and which one is off (yes, needs to be turned on in the menu, it never fucking worked). You'll spend a solid minute in menus ever time you want to switch inputs.

* AOC AG271QG (old but solid and reputable choice for this category). * Asus ROG PG27UQ (if you want to spend a lot of money to buy something really awesome). All of them are solid choices. Some native g-sync some g-sync compatible.

Friend's target is 27'' 1440p, GPU is RTX 2070 Super, the main usage will be gaming. I have AOC AGON AG271QG and those things are still crazy prices, £560 on Amazon, IPS, 4ms response, G-sync. But I also found Asus VG279Q, 1ms, but *freesync*, not g-sync.
