You could always look for last year's model on sale (which has the same processor, and also supports Pencil), but there's a case for the slight improvements here if you want to pay up for Apple's keyboard case. And, yes, iPadOS 13 generally runs just fine (except for the perpetual bugs, of course)

iPad 10.2-inch review: The case for the least expensive iPad

 It comes in a Zip lock bag with a dollar store charging block. So far, plugged it in and it turns on, but after 20 minutes of charging its only at 1% how long must it charge before it gets to 2%? To be fair, shipping was about a week late, so I understand the battery not working or charging. But it might be to late to return and replace before Christmas.

So unless you have a ps4, PC, this is garbage. You can't even block ads with it because it's apple garbage, it says well since we figured out you could block ads with brave we won't support this browser any more haha. 

I mean it is not even worth having a screen like this and watching Netflix lol, Netflix or any of the streams even at 4k look like utter garbage trash compared to a 1080 Blu Ray. Which you can't play on this because I dono apples garbage.

Worthless unless your streaming PS4 or PC

Overall, the pixel loss and dirt behind the screen (from dirty manufacturing environment) equate to poor quality and are a constant concern with ipads.

Strike two

I got my son this iPad for Christmas and we got a phenomenal deal at $230. You wont find it that low again. However it still offers value at around $300.
