 As several reviewers posted, the corners of their case popped off, and there is legitimacy to their concerns.  To test, this is what I did to verify the snugness of the case: 1. Make sure the case is on 2. Push the corner of the phone against the palm of your hands so that corner of the screen will be covered by your hands (to mimic a phone drop screen facing the ground, and your hands mimic the ground) 3

The corners of this case will not grip the phone well and if you were to ever drop the phone at the right angle, your phone will be not be protected. It is disappointing considering the premium price and brand you are paying for. As several reviewers posted, the corners of their case popped off, and there is legitimacy to their concerns.   The bottom two corners of the case came off quite easily with the top part of the frame chassis exposed. Keep in mind this is just a test with a supple surface (my hands), but if this were a real life test on hard surfaces like concrete, the case will not protect the phone. Upon further analysis, the lip of the case stretches far enough to grip the phone but slightly exposes the frame chassis for cosmetics and a "bordered" look. Comparatively, I have a rubber Spigen case for the phone and the lips completely cover the frame, but the grip is tight and will pass the palm test

 Make sure the case is on 2. The case looks good, mag charger from apple works with it well. The point of the case isn’t just looks, my iPhone 12 pro slightly pops out of the case and I have to push it back in. Does not give me the confidence that the case will do it’s job protecting the phone in a pinch. I can not recommend it, even though I like the look of it

No, not a secure enough case for the price

 Everything fits like, well, a glove including the one thing that I am ultra picky about that so many cases never get exactly right. I’m talking about the buttons. The buttons on the 12 pro series didn’t just come about by accident, they were very carefully designed to be slightly different this go around and if I had my preference I wouldn’t put a case on my phone at all, but that would be sheer folly. Unlike almost any case I can think of they chose to use a hybrid leather covered metal button here that actually has its own slight snap to it, so every button press is met with a soft reassuring click whether you are aware of it or not

  Then finally there’s magsafe, something this manufacture seems to be holding on to with an iron grip. No one’s cases and no one’s charging disks are exactly the same as Apple’s and no one’s work together in unison like this case does with a 12 series phone. I won’t touch that argument about the slight discoloration because it is a non issue and absolutely not a cause for a negative review. They are very clear about what’s happening and why and make it clear upfront – if you can’t accept that as the way it is make the simple decision not to buy this case

 When anyone has the means and sophistication to choose to buy what is perhaps the most technologically advanced smartphone on the planet it is baffling and perhaps bordering on incredulous that they would then choose the cheapest rubbery plastic case to preserve and protect it. Is sixty bucks really all that much of a sacrifice to coddle your thousand buck smartphone in – really.  Okay then why the leather one, it is just for showing off and going for brag rights you may ask. For me the answer is no, I have chosen real leather for about 80% of my previous phones for the one and simple reason that there is nothing like it for helping me feel secure that my phone won’t slip out of my hands under any conditions – warm, cold, damp, dry

Why you really should do it

While there are many leather cases to choose from for your shiny iPhone 12/Pro, you can't do much better than Apple's official Leather Case with MagSafe. The Saddle Brown color is a nice, rich brown. The leather is supple and no two cases are exactly alike. The case fits snugly against the iPhone (which it should) and is very sturdy once attached, and there's also a neat little animation on the iPhone the first time you put it on

  Overall, this is a great case and I can't wait to see how the patina develops as the months and years progress. At $59 I'm expecting this case to last as long as I have this phone. I had a Pixel 2 XL for 3 years, so I'm hoping to go at least that long with my iPhone 12 Pro, but time will tell.

  The case is not without its flaws, however. Because of the case's thickness, the mute switch can be surprisingly hard to toggle. Also, the trim around the camera cutout is plastic, which I feel is a very odd choice. Finally, at $59, the price is a little steeper than the competition (are magnets really that expensive?)

Excellent Premium Leather iPhone 12 Case

 You want a case to protect your phone from a 10 foot drop, buy a case that will protect it from a 10 foot drop. You just won’t be getting a case that looks Apple fresh af and feels like god in your hand. I like it so much I’m returning my protective case and going the premium route, opting to risk damage so I can feel like a freaking god holding one of these beauties. It doesn’t even hurt the pinky I rest my phone on how soft it is

First of all, the case fits perfectly, as you expect it would being made by Apple. It's not bulky, and the buttons respond better than any case I've ever owned. It also feels like it was made for my phone (which it was, I know!). What I mean is that it offers great feel and grip, great protection without feeling like I'm carrying around a giant case instead of a phone

The perfect case!

I have been contemplating buying this case since it was launched initially with Apple - I have put it in my shopping cart and removed it multiple times, due to the $60 price tag [couldn't justify spending that amount on a “phone case”] - but, I finally decided to purchase it once Amazon started stocking it.  I am 100% happy with the quality of the leather, metallic buttons [which are very tactile and have a nice click and feel], and the slimness of the case! I am still pushing the “$60 + tax” to the back of my mind because this case is definitely a must buy for any iPhone 12/12 Pro owner wanting a premium quality leather case.  The Baltic Blue looks so much better in person, than the pictures give it justice online, and it looks great with my Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro.  Hope this helps someone that on the fence 😁
