I am 6 feet tall, standing height of 42.2. This thing does NOT move. I have a Apple XDR display sitting on top, with a MacBook Pro and other items, and I get zero wiggle when typing hard at that height. Just seems bomb proof, even on carpet, which I know robs the desk of some stability.

Our rule has always been to review products based on what we have in front of us and never against the promise of a future software update, and based on what I have in front of me, I simply wouldn’t want to use this camera. The cameras on the new MacBook Pro and M1 iMac are far superior to what we’re seeing here, and an iPhone front camera is even better still. I’m hopeful Apple will improve things via software in the future, but I would not spend $1,599 on this display until that actually happens

So, with that said, my purchase decision as a Mac user would be: Studio Display > SW271 > SW321C (if you need 32 inches). Note that I didn't give points to/ding the Studio Display for things like its camera or lack of HDR and 120hz because the BenQ doesn't have these features either. Also, I didn't give the Studio Display a point for its speakers, because the BenQ don't have them. Hope this helped.

But for everyone else, your money will go way farther with a higher-quality, higher-refresh panel that calibrates just the same as what Apple has on (Studio) Display. The studio display is familiar, but improved over the iMac. The colors are bright and accurate, text is razor sharp, and the aluminum enclosure and stand look fantastic. I don't care much about the camera and I am not confident the Apple Studio Display camera is superior to the LG at this point, though it seems likely to be improved in future updates according to Apple. I only occasionally use Skype or Zoom, and it is probably good enough for that now.

Specifically designed for macOS devices, you need a Mac computer to take full advantage of the monitor's capabilities. It's very well-built, but the variants that come with stands have limited ergonomics, so they're harder to place in an ideal position. The Studio Display has an exceptionally accurate sRGB mode that you can only access with a macOS device
