I rented from a local shop near where I live for the season and besides having a bit of heel lift in the boots, the board they gave me is an Arbor Foundation 159cm. I’ve read it’s a good board to learn on Bc of the rocker profile but the thing just doesn’t feel very responsive at all. I’m 5’11 and 160ish pounds as a point of reference but turning this thing feels like turning on a longboard (both surf and skate) where everything is slow and drawn out.

I consider myself a beginner/intermediate snowboarder and have taken 2 lessons, Been snowboarding 9 days over the years and slowly getting better at linking turns. I’m leaning more towards rocker-dominant boards as it seems they are less likely to catch an edge and something not too stiff. I have been looking around for good boards and so far these snowboards have caught my eye;. -Arbor foundation.

I just recently got into snowboarding and bought my own setup, an Arbor Formula rocker with Union bindings. Per some advice from people I know I started out -12/12 degrees back/front (I ride goofy if that matters at all). I was having trouble switching from toe side to heel side, changing my back binding angle to 0 seemed to help with this a lot. But lately I’ve been having trouble going from heel back to toe.
