"Squid Ink" is ugly purple

It’s also padded in areas that the pulls could press against you so thats a plus. All and all well designed and fit and with prior experience in Gore-Tex clothing and gear it should keep you dry in a typical downpour.

Lightweight Gore-Tex shell, it’ll do best in rain and when there’s a light chill to the air, throw an extra layer or 2 if theres snow. I like the over color and the fit of the jacket is spot on. It has a good texture without feeling bulky but still provides good warmth. This jacket with an shirt underneath will keep you warm to about 20 degrees outside in heavy wind and rain. I would get the alpha jacket gen 2 if you needed perhaps a bit more durability as it is a heavier fabric
