Can someone tell me why the manual is saying to sleep one way over the other - it is the Friheten couch

Here are the sofas I was considering (last 2 are way more than my budget but seems very well made and nice):

- My budget is $2000 (US dollars) it should last a minimum of 10 years. I am open to sofas costing up to $3000 but if I’m going to pay that it should last a minimum of 20 years.

- I want something modern looking (no leather) in a darker color either cool grey or blue. 

Here’s some info about me, my taste, my budget, the room the sofa is going in and how I plan on using the sofa.

 I got a good deal and I'm pretty happy with it, but make sure it's the kind of couch you are looking for.

I know there have been threads on this subject in the past, but looking for some more recent opinions.

What's the latest opinion on Article, namely for the sofas and seating? It's hard to get a consensus as there are definitely conflicting reviews online and but it's hard to know what is legitimate.

What about the Ceni specifically? Anyone have it and can share their experiences how it's been and held up?

Any other models/brands you can recommend in the same price realm that resemble either the Ceni, Sven, or Timber sofas?

What's the latest consensus on Article?

I have an Article Ceni and would definitley buy it again. The frame is solid wood, foam seems to be high quality, and the fabric has held up fairly well. I also remember reading a NYT Wirecutter review before I bought it and they seemed to really like it.

Everyone was trashing west elm on here in other threads
But I like the style of their furniture
