But as I mentioned in the singing section, I do tend to hear a little bit of graininess in the treble frequencies, almost like those upper frequencies...

The included desktop stands are a nice inclusion with this kit but their build quality leaves a lot to be desired.

At the 70% gain setting the noise floor rises to -39 dB (15 dB increase from -54 dB mentioned earlier in the post). So, yes by the time I'm finished recording I'm usually covered in a pool of sweat. I initially bought the mic after reading reviews that suggested the mic would be able to record with a ceiling fan running. From my miserable experience, I now think that this is extremely untrue.

Even then, the really don’t add anything that a dynamic can’t do. All you need is a computer and a decent usb dynamic mic. My recommendations are the Audio Technica atr2100x and Samson q2u. You can use Audacity for free, but I also recommend checking out Reaper.
