The Specs on this pan said it was 3+ lbs. This monster is closer to 6+ lbs. I cannot even lift it with one arm and I am not a weakling. I specifically bought this one because it stated it was lighter than the other cast iron pans I looked at, whose weights were consistently 6+ lbs

Everything sticks!

Good Dutch oven but the handle on top is horrible! It is supposed to be a cute heart but instead it's a super sharp weapon. Very uncomfortable to lift the heavy lid off unless you grab it in a very specific spot. We are going to have to replace the handle.

I was looking for a pan for everyday cooking for my family of 3, well this pan is just big enough for one thin cut steak, not tall enough for cooking chicken drumsticks. Looks great but not practical.

Excited to find a french white 6 quart pot in enameled cast iron that wouldn't cost a child's education. Also, I was proud to purchase a product made in USA, as well as supporting the Curry brand for its charity to No Kids Hungry. I was disappointed in slightly poor enameling on the lid; nothing that makes me want to go through the return process or risk a worse issue. The one issue that I encountered that I should have anticipated is that the charming heart-shaped handle gets HOT

Decent alternative to expensive Le Creuset

Love the benefits of cast iron with the ease of care and cleaning of being enameled. I have a ceramic glass top stove so this was the only option if I wanted a cast iron pan that wouldn’t scratch the top. I knew that cast iron would be heavy, but since I’m a man I thought no problem! I was wrong. This thing is hard to hold! I don’t think it’s heavier than any other cast iron pan, but like one other reviewer noted, the shape of the handle makes it hard to hold

 I also bought Ayesha Curry’s silicon handle covers to use with it. Once the handle becomes slick with grease splatter the handle covers want to squeeze right off making it doubly hard to hold! As long as you can leave the pan on the stove it’s great!
