 This tool, paired with a long attachment hose offer the best set of tools I've ever used with a household carpet cleaner. After the carpeting is completely dry, vacuum the floors one last time. I apologize. I forgot to get some good before shots, but it did make a nice difference

 For its price, the Bissell has the best cleaning performance, the best hoes and attachments, and it's built the best. The biggest drawback on this machine is the weight of it. It is tiring to use. However, I believe it's worth it to put in the extra effort to get the best results

 So there you have it. For years, I've considered the Original Big Green Upright to be the best household carpet cleaner available for a few reasons. Unlike all other household carpet cleaners sold today, it's built to heavy duty standards. Bissell Big Green Pet Plus Review Tutorial Maintenance Tips & Original Model Comparison

While this exact model isn’t still for sale, Bissell still sells carpet sweepers for between $20 and $40. Easy to clean and simple to use.

 Then, going over the spots with Big Green it does a great job removing the stains. I make extra passes over high traffic areas or tough stains and it does make a huge difference. I've mostly used the carpet cleaning system that came with my Kirby in recent years, but this is a superior clean than that one.  Depending on the pile of your carpet and the amount of pet hair in your home, you will notice clumps of fibers/hair under the unit and in the waste area

 You really don't want soggy carpets. I am giving four stars, however, because our particular unit seems not to spray well on the forward motion, or at least not as consistently as the rental versions did. It is spraying the cleaning solution, but one pass does not seem to wet the carpet enough. I found myself doing a pass up and back with the trigger depressed, and then two additional passes to remove the liquid

 Otherwise, quality, fit, and finish is almost identical to what I've seen from the PetSmart rentals.  Setup for use: Setup is fairly straight forward and easy. The bottom reservoir is for warm water and the cleaning solution. The cap is large and easy to put on and remove

 When it stops it drips. I keep an old towel handy and back the machine up onto the towel when I stop using it - problem solved.  Overall: We purchased this for ourself because we had been so pleased with the rentals. It does a good job cleaning our carpets and controlling the odors from three dogs who sometimes have accidents

Great unit - easy to use and clean

 and then it vacuums it right up. After it's got this really powerful big agitator brush inside there too, so it sprays down. Clean solution, agitates it with this big agitator and then vacuums it up really hard. Back into a dirty water basin works exceptionally well

 The results I got with it were shocking. actually. if you haven't cleaned your carpet in, you know, two, three, four, five years, you'll notice a big difference after using this one. especially depending on if you have pets Things like that too

Bissell Big Green Professional Carpet Cleaner - Review 2022

My grandma got this carpet sweep in the early 1960s she gave it to me when I moved into my first apartment. I love this thing, it works like a gem.

 2. Open the dirty water tank and remove the three small trial size bottles of cleaner and the large piece of cardboard from the tank.  Like I said earlier, the machine works great but I could have been saved a lot of time and aggravation had those two small but important steps been included prominently as BEFORE YOU START items in the manual. But the machine does work great!

 My advice to Bissell would to please change your manual and include: BEFORE YOU USE FOR THE FIRST TIME! 1. Turn the unit on it's side and remove the large piece of cardboard from the foot of the machine. 2. Open the dirty water tank and remove the three small trial size bottles of cleaner and the large piece of cardboard from the tank

Great Machine But Directions Seriously Lacking

 Now before I end this video. there's another product I Want to tell you about since you're watching a video on a carpet cleaner, you want to know about this I Learned about this from professional carpet cleaners we have. We used to have a rental property and they the renters really trashed the carpet. Red kool-aid stains everywhere and they use this stuff called Folex They have two versions, the standard version and the pet stain version

The Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Carpet Machine. Now this is a great carpet cleaner and not just by my assessment I've had this for a few years now, but also by the thousands of four and a half and five star reviews on Amazon I have a link in the description below you can click to pick this up but I figured I'd do a video to go over what makes this such a great carpet cleaner over the competition Now one of the things that I like about this the most is its basic design. All the weight is above the vacuum and the brushes, so as it's scrubbing it's really getting in there and as it's vacuuming it's there's enough pressure applied. The unit itself weighs 48 pounds and the water tanks hold 1

 It really is great. So to top it all off, it also has a five-year warranty which is just amazing. Five years. So that's my review of the Bissell Big Green Machine

 but I Have to tell you this stuff even though the bottle looks like it hasn't she it's design since the 60s or even 50s. This stuff takes out stains that I would otherwise dismiss as impossible. So using Folex in combination with the Bissell green machine I Can't see you having any problems cleaning almost anything on your carpet, so links in the description below for both the full ex and the Big Green machine. The Best Carpet Cleaner Review Bissel Green Machine 2020

I am renting a small home, I don’t need much. I previously used a broken (as in flung large chunks of dirt out the back) Bissell upright I got from Kijiji (like Craigslist) for $40. If this Vacuum sucks the floor well enough for a single male for 2 years, I’ll be happy. The price I got it at, I don’t imagine there’s much better personally

 It looked like the carpets hadn't been cleaned in 2 years. I am sooo disappointed in how the Pro Heat cleaned. All this time I thought my carpets were getting clean when the truth of the matter is, they weren't.

 This review is comparing the Bissel Pro Heat to the Big Green Pro (hereafter referred to as BGP)  The Pro Heat has a separate reservoir for cleaning solution so upon finishing cleaning, any solution not used could be used with the next cleaning. The BGP does not have a separate reservoir. With the BGP, the cleaning solution is added directly to the water and if you don't use all the water, the solution is wasted.  The instructions for the BGP states to make passes (first with solution, second without) until the water being extracted appears clean

 But with the new carpet and plenty of money in my pocket, decided to give the BGP a try. How'd the carpet turn out with the BGP after having cleaned the carpet 3 times with the Pro Heat and within a month of getting the BGP? Only one phrase to describe it: holy-f'n-cow! I could NOT believe how dirty the water was. It looked like the carpets hadn't been cleaned in 2 years. I am sooo disappointed in how the Pro Heat cleaned

* Budget: $150-$300 
* We live in a ~1200 sq foot apartment - 50% carpet and 50% vinyl flooring. We primarily need a vacuum cleaner for the carpets since we usually just sweep and mop the floors.
* Me and my spouse both have long hair and shed a lot. We also have an 11 lb short-haired dog who is a shedding monster.
* We also want the vacuum cleaner to come with attachments to clean upholstery because dog hair. 
* No preference for bagged or bagless, whichever one lasts longer and is easier to maintain.
* Prefer new but would also consider refurbished vacuum cleaners if the company is selling them
