 In the night video again the image is grainy and the motion blur is visible however I believe that the light processing is fair. Now the question is do I recommend or do not recommend this camera? Well it's very difficult to say maybe the product that I bought is not the real deal or maybe there are issues with the product itself because I've seen some videos online they're slightly better than mine but the grainy images are still there, motion blur is there so I cannot really tell for sure. However I would say this, if you have the G1W then keep it, don't change. Stay with the G1W until you're better

 Because no one needs a camera that produces unclear dark or motion blurred videos since they wouldn't be useful as evidence when they're needed the most. Which is basically the purpose of having such cameras in the first place. The processor and sensor makes most of the camera value, therefore do not buy a $10 camera because it will give you the opposite of what you're looking for which are dark and crazy motion blur videos. Before I begin the review it's important to mention that the last camera I owned was the G1W which is the highest rating value for a money camera out there until now

 I've tried several types of dashboard cams, however few of them really deserved it to conduct a review, therefore if you are looking to purchase your first camera or looking for an upgrade then this video is for you. Most cameras out there have almost identical components and technology, so what you need to be looking for when making the decision to purchase a dashboard camera is a video processor and CMOS sensor where they are the deal breaker when it comes to this.  Could be me fumbling around trying to figure it out! I guess you get what you pay for; this is an inexpensive model.  UPDATE: 11/9/15 I did some practical tests in my studio to figure out how this camera saves files you choose to save outside of an accident. I set up my camera recording my computer monitor running an online stopwatch. The objective was to see what would happen and when, when you hit the OK button to save a file

Works Well, but Needs Improvement on Usability

 But if you really do want higher quality video, especially at night, I would say check out the Street Guardian SG9665GC. It looks just like this, but again, has better video quality.  I think for under $100, this is probably my favorite camera. I've always really loved this wedge design, and one of the issues in the past was the fact that it had a battery. So now that there's a capacitor version, I think this is definitely a camera to take an interest in, I would recommend this over the G1WC any day because I really hate the G1WC's form factor. So if you're looking for something under $100, I would say go for this one

It's a good dash cam for the price & size. Few things to note before purchasing.

 Now, let me get straight to the pros and cons. First, the pro. This unit can record in full HD, so that's 1920 by 1080, or it can record in 1280 by 720. At 1080p, the frame rate is 30 frames per second, or if you're recording at 720, it's 60 frames per second

Hit Or Miss

Have used it since October 2014, so can leave a reliable review. The camera is nice - the quality, reliability, high-definition of the video feed/pictures, even nighttime is quite respectable. It is certainly better than most other cameras in that or even higher price range. But I discovered one interesting bug, which lead me to give it 3 stars instead of 5 stars
