Introducing Black Diamond Performance Lifestyle Shoes

 One of the druthers I have is that there's not a whole lot of support but what I've found out is that the inserts actually do come out so if you need a little bit more support with your shoes you can remove those and buy some good inserts to give your foot more support. As you're hiking through the boulder fields. The other thing is my feet got a little bit cold when the temperatures were below 40 degrees and that could just be me but even hiking in with some thick socks my feet were a little cold but above 40 degrees really not a lot of issues. I know the material is supposed to be pretty breathable so for those spring or early fall boulder sessions it is kind of nice to make sure your foot is going to be breathing and not having a whole lot of sweat smell build up in there

 They are the city version so they're not hefty and supportive like you would get with a hiking boot but a little bit more sleek and stylish like you would get with a regular street shoe so leave a comment if you'd like let us know what you think and thanks for watching.

Black Diamond Session Approach Shoe Review

 The midsole is part of the shoe that's sandwiched between the upper and the outsole that provides cushioning and rebound and it helps protect the foot from feeling hard or sharp objects. Right so that's the tech specs of that shoe but we've been wearing it all summer so what do you think? Well I've been using it mainly outdoors like to go to the crag and then on multi pitches scrambled a bit in them. First thing I noticed is the collapsible heel and just how easy it is to slip in and out of the shoes while belaying and or on a multi-pitch to so like to carry on the on your harness and then like change in between. The downside of the heel is that it is stretchy and when you start walking out more technical terrain it just doesn't support your foot but I guess that's a trade-off
