I don't think going up a cup size would benefit you since this looks good in cup fit and the next size up would be too big. I'd suggest looking at Bravissimo's house brand, they've got the widest wires of the UK brands and I think you'd suit a wide range of their styles. Edit 2 as I forgot about the sports bras question: Panache, Freya, Bravissimo, and Anita are all pretty popular bra sized sports bras, I have a Bravissimo Inspire myself and quite like it.

I doubt seamless molded cups will work for you in any size, they hold their shape much too well and they also aren't as projected. I think the Sculptresse might be worth trying on in a 36HH, perhaps the Elomi Brianna half cup, if you're looking for a sports bra I found the Bravissimo Inspire to have particularly short and closed off cups, though projection may be an issue (Bravissimo only sells directly through their site but has a good shipping/returns policy).

Was given 36H as my suggested starting size.

Measurements are: 
Under - 
Standing - tight 33.5
Standing - 36 comfortably snug
Standing - 37.25 loose

Over:
Standing - 45.6
90 Degrees - 50.25
Laying down - 48.25

very full on top - very projected - outer full - broad roots/wide base

Here's what happened when I took to Amazon Try Before You Buy:

Fantasie 36h(UK)/36k(us) fit well except the underwrite was too narrow and I had side spillage.

Freya Expression Molded Demi 36H(UK)/36K(US) I could not get it on. The underwire seemed too inflexible and too wide making the band feel entirely too tight and while I couldn't get it on, the cups seemed too large.

Plus Size Couture strapless multiway 38H(UK) band too tight to close myself, cups come up way too high, there is gapping at the top of the cups.

Glamorise Wonderwire Front Closure 36G(UK - thought the us size was a UK size) 36H(us) - I couldn't even get this bra closed. Over my breasts and the cups seemed entirely too small. I was able to close it upside down. Also tried 38 and 40 they didn't fit. I only tried this one to begin with because I thought the cup size was larger.

Elomi women's plus size energise sport (blue lightning) 36H(UK)/36k(US) - almost a perfect fit but there is about an inch of fabric across the top that pulls away from my body along the very top of where my breasts start and even more so around my sternum up top.

Elomi Smooth Underwire Molded Cup bra size 36HH - very extremely wrinkled/loose fabric along the top but supported me in a way I have not ever experienced. (Actually held my very projected breasts UP rather than just IN. I would like to try this one in the regular 36H maybe... 

Elomi Energise Sport (different style) (navy geo) 36H(UK)/36k(us) the end of the underwire was digging in to my side before I could even get the bra hooked. 

Elomi Women's Plus Size Matilda Underwire 36H(UK) - I really liked this but there was so much fabric along the very top... That keeps happening with so many of these. It feels like they're just sitting so high that I don't have any boob where they come to. I would expect extra on the smaller side, but it's BOTH sides😔 

Elomi women's plus size smooth underwire Molded bra(it's not molded at all btw, neither was the hh) - somehow the h seems even larger than the hh! There is room through the entire cup rather than just along the top. I'm starting to feel absolutely defeated.

Sculptresse by Panache 36H(UK) - under arms/armpits... Spillover and pinching. Top of right cup cuts in a little to create some spillover/double boob but only slight....
Left rib cage - underwire digs in to ribs a little after a few minutes of wear.

Elomi Women's Plus Size Charley seamless t shirt breathable spacer underwire bra 36H(UK) - I couldn't close the bra. Upside down, I could get it closed on the largest and maybe even the second hook but the underwire dug into my ribs in a really painful way(not the edge but the actual entire piece of underwire for both cups.

Elomi Women's Plus Size Sachi Strappy Underwire Plunge Bra 36H(UK) - just doesn't fit right. Material is bunched up around the bottom, I've got side spillage, gapping in does spots and the band feels too tight and I couldn't even get it on myself. I needed my husband's help.

CurvyCouture Tulip Lace Pushup style #1017 size 36H - There's a *small* amount of bulging/spillage at the top of my large breast and a small amount of gapping at my smaller breast. The boning wire on the sides feels a little off centered and feels almost like it's "in the way" of my arms. The straps feel like they are a little more wide set than I'd prefer - just like the underwire it feels like the straps get in the way of my arms a little. The boning wires on the side were making my arms numb if I rested them against my sides and the bottom of the boning wires were digging sharply into my side leaving a bright, red, painful mark on both sides.

CurvyCouture Sheer Mesh Pushup 36H(maybe this brand doesn't use UK sizing?)- created complete double boob on my right breast and underwire pushed hard under my right breast and was very painful.

Please help?

[Recommendations] 36H what to try next?

I’m 34E and looking for a sports bra; I’ve not bought a sports bra before so I’m not exactly sure what specifically to look for. I don’t want it to be super tight or to compress too much as I have sensory issues, I just need something comfortable to keep in place. 

Also, is there a specific name for a bra that’s underwired but the cups don’t hold a shape? (Like when there’s underwire but the cup is like lace and material and not moulded.) Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m just not sure where else to ask.

Second question: before I spend my paycheck at bravissimo...I am hoping you can provide me with some brand/style recommendations.  I am full on bottom, and I think my root is short and wide. Fwiw, I've done well historically in balconettes and half cups. Unless there's a lot of 'push' there's not a lot of boob on top, so molded full cups leave me with a ton of room inside the bra. My boobs are also very broad set, with a lot of flesh feeling like it's very much on the side-ish under my arm. 


My measurements are:
Loose UB: 35.5
Snug UB: 34
Tight UB: 32
Standing B: 40
Leaning B: 41.5
Lying B: 39.5

Could use a size review and style recommendation

It’s Elomi Energise or the Bravissimo Inspire for me now that I’m a 34JJ UK (and the Bravissimo does not run the same as Elomi as I’m finding out, or not for my shape). The inspire has a few sale colors right now so I have a bunch of sizes on order to try. The 34K holds me up well, but the gore is floating a tad, so I made a 2nd order.
