Breville Fresh & Furious

It's bearable, not ear-piercing we loud like some of the other blenders I've reviewed, the blender didn't move around on the counter at all.

But I'd recommend getting a refurbished sette 270 instead and like a gaggia classic or something. I think that setup gives you way more overhead to learn bc with the stock grinder on the Breville I peaked really early and had to get a second grinder anyways. I use the stock grinder for decaf coffee for late night cappuccinos mostly, but it's just not a great machine to grow with bc the limits are low.

Without reading everything else here or if laziness I get good shots from my Breville by using the right grind (Illy seems to be perfect, I can't afford a good grinder right now so that's what I've settled on) and doing a preinfusion. I run the pump for about five seconds until I see a drop of coffee,then off for 30 seconds, then pull the shot. If the machine is warmed up and I've tamped it correctly it's a respectable shot...

I like Breville, I think this espresso machine is easy to use and adjustable. I make ice coffee on it, but not like you see it on Starbucks. I brew 2 shots of espresso, place it with a 2:1 dilution of milk:espresso into a shaker (martini shaker) using the plastic frozen cubes to avoid making the coffee to watery and shake ir until foamy, then pour it into a glass with more of these plastic frozen cubes.
