 If i wanted a little stronger, i could i had four more settings. I could do for strength so now, let's see how it did so. Yeah the open button is here: this is going to open, we can see, there's where it shot the coffee grounds in yeah and be careful. This can be hot, but let's see how it did so yeah it does a pretty good job with the coffee grounds

 That'S about. 66! That'S about standard! That'S a really hot cup of coffee! I'Ve had coffee out of here. It makes a makes a really nice cup of coffee. You'Ve got a lot of control over it um again

 I don't find that i need to change it that much. We lift this off again, that's the bean hopper. We turn this and then we can lift it off. What'S nice about this is there's that cleaning brush

 So here i change this to cups say i want to do a 12 cup pot of coffee, but i only have three in the tank and i press start it. It flashes. It and kind of beeps and says: hey, add more, it doesn't say, add more water, but it gets your attention and it won't do the brew check out my next video i'm going to show you how to program the auto start. So i'm going to show you how to program this to start in the morning automatically

REVIEW BREVILLE Grind Brew 12 Cup Coffee Maker HOW TO MAKE COFFEE

 Sorry, Breville.  Main complaints? The beans have to pushed into the chute or it grinds away at air. The carafe leaves way too much coffee in the bottom and it has to be tipped on its head to get the coffee out when near the bottom and that means coffee goes everywhere, in the cup on the table. It's a dumb carafe design

 It hasn't been long, but still. Not even a note to say they got the email. All I want is an easy to make decent pot of coffee in the morning. Something that tastes good and stays hot

 I'm willing to do it but it's not for everybody.  UPDATE: DECEMBER 30 2019  So, I figured out how to get that shiney metal disc to open. You have to have ALL the pieces in place (the plastic little grinds catcher & the basket assembly) with the door closed BEFORE taking apart the hopper. With fewer beans, I'm brushing it out every few days as opposed to once per week or so with the Cuisinart

  Review remains at 3 stars. You have to really really want a great cup of coffee every day to be willing to deal with the maintenance. I'm willing to do it but it's not for everybody.  UPDATE: DECEMBER 30 2019  So, I figured out how to get that shiney metal disc to open

 A 6 or 8-cup pot on the Breville at 3 strength used significantly more beans than my Cuisinart at Medium strength. I switched to 3-strength since level 4 almost filled the filter & was actually stronger than I'm used to.  I'm very fastidious with my coffee machines & clean up after I have my first morning cup. I can see that over time the chute disc at the back of the machine may get funky if it's not regularly wiped down

  It uses A LOT of beans at one time. My only comparison here is by considering the amount of ground beans in the filter after making a pot.  So it's a 60 ounce, one of the largest ones on the market. Unless you go into one of those big, your urns, that they use at the church socials and that thermos carafe, which means it's a double wall, stainless steel, it's going to keep it hot. So hence it does not have a heating plate down here, but what it does have no heating plate, but it does have a spot in here. You can do one cup on demand and let's say you have a big travel mug

 He knows these machines in and out, and i said to him: phil: did they change the volume of the grinder? Is it any quieter and he said it's much quieter and i would agree it is it's a lot quieter than the old one? So right now it's preheating the element down in there preheating the water and it's going to brew. So we'll pause, we'll come back with a cup of coffee and see what it tastes like. We'Ve got our seven cups in there. It brewed it counted backwards to zero and it calculates by how many cups you have in there how long it's going to take and how long it brews

 More detail, so I'm gon na take the top off. I'Ve got this unlocking a lock it again in a minute. I just wanted to take this out and show you you can get about a half pound of coffee in here and then in here. I'M just gon na take here is 1/2, the top half of the little burr grinder

 This is where the ground coffee comes through. Let'S see, if I can get this right, it comes through here hits this baffle here drops down. Then the water comes through the top comes through these grooves here and then falls evenly onto the ground. Coffee for in that system, actually pretty easy

 I can take it out. I can throw out the filter and I'm good to go for my next one. Well, actually I'll probably raise the whole thing. So that's that and I like the fact that it has a thermal carafe and a hot plate, because I hate it away: coffee makers, stew, coffee with that hot plate
