We had low expectations for the BRS-3000T due to its low price. Straight out of the box, we were shocked by its size — this is tiny, and it weighs next to nothing. It can fit comfortably in any ultralight hiker's 375ml titanium cup. Despite the diminutive size, this stove sports a wire valve that's easy to use and provides nice low-end flame control for simmering. The pot supports are also sturdier than they appear &mdash; they held a 1.7-liter stainless steel kettle with a liter of water without any issues.
A number of consumer reviews mention a durability problem with melting pot supports. We have yet to experience this issue, but high-end quality control can't be expected when a product is significantly less expensive than the competition. While the BRS has good flame control, the burner head is tiny, so you have to be attentive to avoid burning rice and beans or scorching the bottom of your pot. It also does not perform well in the wind, cold, or at higher elevations and lacks a piezo igniter. Truth be told, if you plan to cook anything more complicated than a freeze-dried meal, oatmeal, or coffee, you may want to look elsewhere. However, for ultralight solo backpacking trips in temperate climates, this little stove will save weight, space, and cash.

Those reviews are positive, then hand over to Amazon and check out the product page for the BRS, stove and you're left with a similar degree of confidence. It'S got a solid 4 stars out of 5 and that's backed up with a respectable number of views

 You simply swing out the arms like so and then push them down into their lock final position. There'S small boss features that push up against the brackets and pretty much hold them down with friction. The stove does come with a small stuff sack and, while I wouldn't say it's the highest grade material, let's be, this is a pretty cheap stove and you really don't need anything more than this. BRS Backpacking Stove (TESTED)

Power has been out for 6 hours. The little guy is working hard this afternoon.

Extremely lightweight and minimalist stove with some issues.

 I'M dropping that back down. That'S getting you'll move, they're owned! All of the time has been, you know, it's fell out of the bag and landed on on the floor. I take it out, probably at least once on most trips when I'm out, because it's a really fast way of boiling water. You know you don't want it

 I bought this two and a half years ago, because I was looking for the smallest latest stove. I could find to go on long distance tape, hiking trips and something I could just pack and forget, and my pack, because I don't use gas that often, but when they do, you know it's some. I would prefer to have something like this and as opposed to the much larger ones that I used to carry around and they were always so expensive. This only weighs 26 grams and two and a half years ago it cost me 11 pounds

 Put my gas stove and Sadek titanium cup and like the bottle, thighs and Bess I would just set on top of it and then hope you know I'd put a load on top of that. So it's protect even say the titanium monk. But I don't hate very often, I'm not really a hiker and what I do like most people is just take an ordinary sort of military type bike and go and either build a fire or use a fire box. But I always take this with me

BRS Ultralight Stove Review After 2.5 Years Use

Has anyone used one of these? I’m trying to re-build my gear after losing everything in a flood, and I’m trying to save on as much as possible. It seems to have pretty good reviews overall, but I’m a little worried the price is too low.

  Canister Gas Stove Weight Classes (Less Than or Equal To) Ounces/Grams Heavy 4+ 113+ Moderate < 4 < 113 Light < 3 < 85 Ultralight (UL) < 2 < 57 Super Ultralight (SUL) < 1 < 28  At 25 grams (or less than 1 oz.) this stove really is in a class of its own. I decided to leave a review because I see this has many 1 star reviews, more specifically that this stove has a problem with wind and tines melting.  The stove claims to be made of titanium, which if true there wouldn't be so many pictures of the tines melting since titanium has a melting point of 3000 °F or 1648 °C

Ultra Light Weight Stove

 It'S uh, it's still working. I do have some concerns about keep watching all right, see you later bye. 

 It used like ain't grams of gas, the oil 2 cups of water and my pocket rocket used 7 grams to boil so it's not quite as efficient, but with the weight savings. I thought I would go for it and try it so one of the things that is a little bit different. You know the the pocket rocket has a bigger base, so there's a there's, a rubber grommet that fits on this whole thing. Here I sold a thicker so when you start screwing it on, if the little pleasure a little plunger there sometimes well will depress the plunger inside that the container there and you might get a little gas kind of like leak out and it happens actually, this stuff Quite often, that's even with us, with a with the regulator, turned all the way off

 I think if it happens, when you use in the the pocket rocket it traps the gas in here. You may not even know it because it's much thicker, but with that little o-ring in there it's a little more obvious and you can smell the gas like out one of the things. If you do not get this thing, screwed down tight all the way it kind of like it lights funny I am done and and I've been kind of being very careful with it, not because I don't want to you know if you, if you screw this, if You sue this down super tight, your compressor that little o-ring in there more and more, and eventually it's going to fail. So I guess my my my worry about that has caused me to sometimes not get to super tight and what happens then, when you do that when you go to light it just turn this on is like okay got to turn it turn it turn it turn
