Is it worth twice the C100? for some people yes, for me no.

 Canon have also added a slow and fast button like they did with the C500 Mark II so now you can quickly switch between the different frame rate options nice and easily. You can really tell that Canon have taken people's feedback when it comes to the higher frame rate side of their cameras and implemented new and exciting features into C300 Mark III. The footage across all the frame rates looks really nice but so unsurprisingly I think the super 35 4k looks the best. We also shot some ISO tests

 This new lens will sit alongside the CN7 and Canon's lens lineup. It does draw a lot of designed influence from the CN7 however it is roughly 0.3 pounds or 700 grams heavier and around 0.8 inches longer

 And it also features the same digital image stabilization that gives surprisingly steady results, even at longer focal lengths. Although, when you're using non-native manual lenses, make sure you input your focal length into the stabilization menu, or it can get shaky and have a bit of that warpy distortion that you don't want. But for native Canon lenses, it's easy, and the results are great. The stabilization will add an additional 11% crop to your image, just like with the C500 Mark II, so you have to factor that in when choosing your lenses, as that's really the biggest difference between the two cameras, their angles of view

8 and f4 lenses. I think this camera's slightly larger than the Super 35mm sensor is plenty to get the job done. So, what about dynamic range and noise? Well, that's where things get interesting. This camera features a brand new sensor from Canon, which utilizes a dual gain output

 Normally, when I shoot with a DSLR, I have to shoot with a variable ND filter on the front of the lens, but the C300 has a built-in electronic ND filter wheel, providing up to six stops of neutral density. Having an extra stop or two when paired with a 2.8 lens on a bright and sunny day would be nice, but if really needed, I can always add my variable ND. But operating the internal NDs is a much faster process than working with an external filter, and in video work, every second counts

Not Dead Yet! A Review of the Original Canon EOS C300

 It's about 12 stops, which is fantastic. And the great thing is you're getting 12 stops of dynamic range and a flat profile. And it's only shooting at 50 megabit codec, which is still very, very high quality. And the thing is that we're shooting on the 4K production camera right now

 Now, the Cine lenses, which I've been using, are separate. They are great, but they are a hefty amount of change as well, and they'll about empty out your pockets. You won't have a dollar left to your name if you buy these lenses, but they're worth every penny. They will make you go broke, but they're great

 It's the XF codec. You've got standard Canon Log, and you've also got the flat Cinema Log, which gives you great dynamic range. It's about 12 stops, which is fantastic. And the great thing is you're getting 12 stops of dynamic range and a flat profile

 You won't have a dollar left to your name if you buy these lenses, but they're worth every penny. They will make you go broke, but they're great. And if you can afford it, I definitely say it's a fantastic camera. Hopefully you found this review helpful
